Pray about it. Why bother with me or anyone else here when you can get direction from the source?

God will deal with you, talk with you, lead you as you are willing. Sounds like you're willing.

Rest assured if you love Jesus in your heart and believe in Him you are saved. You will not go to hell.

The only people who go to hell are those who choose by their own free will to do so. Nobody accidentally goes to hell.

Hell is reserved for those who continually and consciously choose to commit evil actions - actions that harm other innocent people - over and over again, blaspheming the Holy Spirit by turning away from the good voice inside them telling them they are wrong, every time they murder or rape that innocent victim, for example. Eventually the voice of good in a person will be quieted if it's drowned out with evil actions long enough.

If you are concerned about going to hell it's a sure sign you will not go there. People who go to hell either don't believe in hell at all or hate God so deeply they would be "happier" in hell than in heaven with Him.

Let's look at verses that show who will not inherit eternal life.

Galatians 5:19-21

But, Jesus came to save sinners so if one repents and seeks absolution and does ones best not to sin again then that would be good.

How many times did Jesus say to forgive!

I have committed homosexual actions and have not repented, this is my biggest worry.

Isa 1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
Isa 1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Isa 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Isa 1:20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

I felt like I was going to hell few years ago. But it was Jesus killing spirits within me. The only unforgivable sin. Is that I feel in love with a character from a cartoon/video game. That was a God/Messiah. I fell in love with another diety that was not Jesus. But He stood beside me anyway. I love Jesus.

Contrary to some published reports, no one goes to Hell for being a homosexual or participating in homosexual activities. The ONLY reason anyone goes to Hell is for denying the offer of Jesus Christ's death, resurrection and offer of forgiveness and eternal life.

Which is not to say all manner of sinful acts (homosexual and improper heterosexual activity being merely two of them) can present all sorts of very real guilt feelings. (Due to the simple fact one IS guilty.) These guilt feelings can be dispatched by presenting one's self before God, confessing and asking forgiveness. However, this cannot be a mere ritual; it has to be honestly meant.

Here is my point of view about this. Homosexual actions in and of themselves will not send a person to hell. Were the acts consensual? Were they in a context of caring and love? If so, that is considered a type of sin called venial and not a mortal sin.

Mortal sin committed over and over, willingly and knowingly with hatred of God and other people, is what sends people to hell.

Mortal sin committed over and over, willingly and knowingly with hatred of God and other people, is what sends people to hell. Venial sin is a sin of morality and while still serious is more minor than a mortal sin, such as murdering someone in cold blood, for example.

Only you know the answers to your own questions. If you have committed actions that caused harm to another person, or to a child, or you infringed on another person's free will, or if you even caused harm to yourself - those sins are more serious and you must repent of them or cause peril to your own soul.

Confess and He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse you, and to strengthen you to sin no more. Only you can know if you're ready to start walking in love and truth with God. Do some serious soul searching. Don't let this go any farther. How you live is how you die. Don't die in your sin. Confess and repent to your Savior now and He will forgive you. And go in peace to sin no more. Rinse and repeat.

Thank you!

I believe in God and i'm trying to accept Jesus as my saviour again (I did when I was younger, but recently I have become distracted). I have committed forgivable sins. What must I do to ensure I will be saved?

Trust the promise of God.

Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24

Paul writes, "What does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness. David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works." Rom 4:3-6

And
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever trusts in Him will not be put to shame." Rom 10:9-11,33

Inherent in saving faith is no longer fearing condemnation. It's trusting God to take care of the salvation thing. Those who fear have yet to trust God in this matter. Put no trust in yourself to achieve salvation. Rather have the faith of Abraham who did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. Rom 4:20-21

It's not by law, it's by promise.
"if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise." Gal 3:18

Jer 17:7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him."

No one who puts their trust (not just believe in God, but trust in Jesus), can be snatched out of the Father's hand. Jesus said that God is greater than all and no one can snatch them out of the Father's hand.
