Those are the same people that believe Jesus literally came back from the dead. Instead of interpreting "dead" a bit more loosely and deciding he was probably just wounded. Can you imagine? Why be so literal about it?hyper-literalism are people who interpret everything literally and denoting any other factors for revelancy
many people can view differently concerning text as such a person a view something to align with there views instead of what is correct certain things can be interpreted differently, is exactly why exegesis on scripture is needed and people can view certain things concerning the bible an still be knowledgeable on scripture because its an opinionated approach such as me explaining my views on regional flood with scripture, my beliefs can be opinionated and not factual or it could be we will never know because its a personal interpretation and not a factual belief that can be explained because the entirety of Genesis was written in a eyewitness account from the prophets its kinda hard to see what they meant because it estranges from different interpretations u understand what i mean? Those are the same people that believe Jesus literally came back from the dead. you do know i can make a quick explanation of the use of world and earth rightMost people see what they want to see.
(Genesis 6–9) describes a worldwide flood (the Noachian Flood) covering even the highest
mountains of the earth and the construction of a huge boat (a rectangular box-like craft) that transported animals, at least two of a kind of all land animals on the earth. Bible says that the rains that created the Noachian Flood lasted for 40 days (Genesis 7:17), that the waters prevailed on the earth for 150 days (Genesis 7:24), and after these 150 days the waters gradually receded from the earth so that by the seventh month and the seventeenth day, Noah’s Ark came to rest upon the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4). A year plus two
months and twenty-seven days later the earth was dry enough so that
Noah, his family, and the load of animals could disembark from the Ark
(Genesis 8:14). Because this flood was intended by God to destroy all flesh on earth
(Genesis 6:13) and because sedimentary rocks on all continents
contain fossils that supposedly represent the “destroyed flesh of all
life,” it might be thought that the Bible story, describing a whole earth flood, was true. However, interlayered with these fossil-bearing sedimentary rocks on all continents are layers of evaporite rock salt (sodium chloride), gypsum
(hydrated calcium sulfate), anhydrite (calcium sulfate), and various
potash and magnesium salts, which are associated with red beds
(shales) containing fossilized mud cracks (Schreiber and others 2007).
Many of these mineral compounds and red beds have combined thicknesses on different continents of more than one kilometer (~3,281 feet) (Collins 2006). The
red beds are red because they contain red hematite (iron oxide) which formed from magnetite grains. Raindrop prints occur in many places around the world which could not have been formed or preserved if the muds (now in
shales) containing these prints were deposited under water
during Noah’s flood. (Senter 2011; Hill et al. 2016) Nests of dinosaur eggs are found in several places around the world, and it is illogical that dinosaurs could have had enough time to create these nests and lay their eggs while they were
fleeing from rising waters to reach higher ground. (Senter
2011; Hill et al. 2016)
a marine sea was once present and to disappear when the sea became
completely dry. Therefore, one could expect these evaporites to
be at the top of the supposed Noachian Flood deposits when the
water supposedly receded and the land dried out, but certainly not in
different levels in between older and younger fossiliferous “Flood
deposits”. We read in the Bible that there is only one time in which the Flood
waters are said to recede and leave the earth dry. That is, no multiple
worldwide climatic conditions are described in which flooding, then
drying to a dry earth, more flooding, more drying to a dry earth, in
repeated cycles that occur over and over again in that Flood year. On
that basis, it is logical that all the kinds of evaporite deposits and red beds in many different levels in the supposed Noachian Flood deposits could form only in local climates with desert drying-conditions and could not possibly have formed all at the same time — a time when flood covered the whole earth for more than one year (Collins 2006). On that basis, the Noachian Flood story cannot describe a whole-earth flood, but it could only represent a
large regional flood.

No, not really. You should try using sentences. That might help.many people can view differently concerning text as such a person a view something to align with there views instead of what is correct certain things can be interpreted differently, is exactly why exegesis on scripture is needed and people can view certain things concerning the bible an still be knowledgeable on scripture because its an opinionated approach such as me explaining my views on regional flood with scripture, my beliefs can be opinionated and not factual or it could be we will never know because its a personal interpretation and not a factual belief that can be explained because the entirety of Genesis was written in a eyewitness account from the prophets its kinda hard to see what they meant because it estranges from different interpretations u understand what i mean?
There are earlier flood legends of God saving a hero from a flood by instructing him to build a large boat to rescue his family and livestock from a coming flood. These stories are about Atrahasis and Gilgamesh. They may be Mesopotamian flood stories as the Tigris River and Euphrates River flooded after snow melted in the mountains during the spring. Before modern dam building, floods sometimes inundated square miles of alluvial plain. On that basis, the Noachian Flood story cannot describe a whole-earth flood, but it could only represent a large regional flood.
The texts say the mountains were covered with water.you do know i can make a quick explanation of the use of world and earth right
Didn't the Mesopotamians not have a Flood Story that pre-dated the bible story. Was there two floods.(Genesis 6–9) describes a worldwide flood (the Noachian Flood) covering even the highest

but the idea of a world flood has to be provable
ad hom we can discuss but refrain from ad homsNo, not really. You should try using sentences. That might help.
terrible argument the amount of water can be great than any flood that ever occured is why it covered mountains etc. so we can hold this belief and still say God never liedYour original post is a wall of text.
Genesis 6
22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.
11 I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
The flood was global because God promised to never send a flood like it again.
If the flood was local then God lied, because there have been many local floods since.
2 Peter3
5 But they want to forget that God spoke and the heavens were made long ago. The earth was made out of water and water was all around it. 6 Long ago the earth was covered with water and it was destroyed. 7 But the heaven we see now and the earth we live on now have been kept by His word. They will be kept until they are to be destroyed by fire. They will be kept until the day men stand before God and sinners will be destroyed.
The flood was as global as the fire to come is, as the return of Jesus is.
i didnt think Mesopotamians matter to Gods word? and the timeframe of the bible would be fallacious to use a discussion and no there was a great flood like any other flood there wasDidn't the Mesopotamians not have a Flood Story that pre-dated the bible story. Was there two floods.

so that means global flood i didnt think that aligns to global flood lolThe texts say the mountains were covered with water.
the waters . . . increased greatly . . . and the mountains were covered" (Genesis 7:18-20).
not in the bible we cannot add to Gods word if the earth is 6k years old and there was a global flood than you must hold to these premisesIs it possible all that you mentioned happened before a one time global flood without flood waters being the cause? who says all that happened has to be from a one year global flood.

a day = 1000 years to God and if you interpret Genesis 1 as a literal day than the earth is chronologically 6000 years oldhuh i did not know the bible says the earth is 6000 years old. what verse is that?
