Hi

I do use the digital art programs to "clean up" my works of art for posting them on my website. This is a new medium to me as you are turning dots into pixels as well as lines, etc.

i like graphics. i had Photoshop 5.5 but we moved the computers and now i can't find it. but it will be found maybe. i'm trying out Photoshop CS for 30 days. you can download it at it says in minimum requirements that you need pentium III or 4. so i don't know if it will run.

SAS044, I really like that graphic. I've heard Photo Shop is a much more powerful program and therefore more difficult to master. Perhaps you can share with us some of the other images you've created.

I find doing tutorials is the best way that I learn, I'm self taught too...and in your age range...old dogs can learn new tricks

I love this filter, it's makes awesome backgrounds...

Hi radfahrerbar. That is exceptional work you do, I particularly like the first and third crosses you posted. The intricacy is quite appealing. PSP7 is my tool of choice also. My daughter has Adobe's PhotoShop on her notebook and I keep telling myself I'm going to learn it, but I keep coming back to PSP.

I'd like to see more of your work.

I have used PSP 5 for almost four years now, and just got a copy of PSP6 recently. But even though my software is a little behind the times, I think that the artwork that you create is even more valuable because of the work you put into it while using outdated tools. I'm currently a new member, but after I get enough posts, I'll show you some of my work. God bless.

I don't know about value, but I do have fun with it. One of these days I will have to post a list of plugin pages. There are a lot of good free ones out there as well as the pay ones. As well I have seen some realy great stuff from people that don't have half the softwair I have. I guess it all depends on what one calles good. Art is what the viewer gets out of it more than what the artest puts into it in my mind.
Keep going at it and have fun, if you make it "work" then it is work. If you make it fun it is art. Or so I have been told LOL
