Working While Pregnant Stinks

Hey Everyone!

Not sure if I am the only one or not...but I really don't like working while I am pregnant. And I'm only 11 weeks! If it isn't the morning sickness :o, it's the hormones or the insane comments from my "colleagues" who are less than ethused that I'm pregnant.

I'm sorry that you're having a rough go of it. You're coworkers had better be nice because the standard is a little different with preggo women. Not that we should shoot off our mouths all of the time, but that we are a little more honest with people who are in our faces.

I'm almost 8 months and I have completely lost interest in my job. My coworkers are all really cool, but sitting for so long makes my hips hurt, my back hurt, my ankles swell, and grouchy level sky rocket.

LOL i'm 11 weeks tomorrow and i don't like work either. I'm just really tired though, and thought i'd join in for a moan! And i just don't like my job in general. I cannot wait for maternity leave, I know it's not going to be a holiday or anything, but i'm so ready for a change of life (without being stuck here! - yes i'm sciving just now! ).

See when you're in bed, do you get sore joints?? My hips (mainly my left) and lower back gets quite achey, is that just joints/bones/ligmanets softening with the hormone changes??

Off to Texas on Saturday!! So excited, altho bet you the next 3 days draaaaag in!

Yes my hips hurt and then when I get up, I'm limping around. My legs were hurting yesterday and my feet seemed like they were doing their own thing!

The way I feel about this job makes me wonder how I'm going to feel about returning to it after our little miracle is born.

I get to work 48 hours next week, in this heat. That means water, water, and more WATER! And snacks in the truck, just in case we are running constantly. I'm really hoping I don't start getting "nausea during pregnancy" in the form of motion sickness because the men I work with aren't exactly the sympathetic types. At least my manager doesn't mind if I catch a nap if we aren't on a call.

I know!! My friend called last night from Texas and said they were having a heat wave!! eek! I'm toasty over here in Scotland already (putting it down to the extra blood that's circulating! )

I'm planning on running from the cars, to the malls, to the restaurants - anywhere with A/C!!

Any tips for travelling on a plane? I'm kinda worried about this plane journey. I've bought those sexy in-flight socks and i'm hoping to try and get up for a wander as much as poss. I suppose drinking lots too (water of course!)

So glad i'm not the only one with the sore hips, I thought it must have been too early for those symptoms. Divinelements, i have no idea how i'll get myself motivated to go back to my job afterwards either!! Scary thought!
