Hi, you may want to inquire at this site for chuches:
http://www.wayoflife.org/fbns/churchdir/!churches.htm

The thing for a foreigner about Mumbai is to quickly get used to the sheer mass of humanity...thats the key to enjoy the city. :)

Parts of the city are more like Manhattan and other parts are huge slums, and they exist side by side. Mumbai is India's commercial and financial center and people from all over India pursue every walk of life there.

Mount Mary's Church is the among the more famous churches - worth a visit.

It might be a good idea to carry bottled drinking water with you. Ask for it even at restuarants. Indian food tends to be spicy for western palates, so ask for milder food items first if you want to sample Punjabi, Mughlai or South Indian food. There is an exciting and mouthwatering variety to be sampled, not to forget the sweets! :D Most hotels and restuarants serve continental food though.

Heh..you'll surely want to see some "Bollywood" films while you're there...maybe you'll get hooked on Indian movies!^_^

And remember to take the normal precautions you might take in any large metropolis anywhere in the world, with regard to crime and personal safety, etc. Mumbai tends to be among the safer cities in that respect.
