What Sets Apart Feast days , and Work Days?
How are we to act on a work day?
It seems some Feast Days we can work on WHY?
The reason I ask this Question is because when I tell A christian that we are comanded to work 6 days and rest the 7th. They go I worship every day. And I go rest does not mean worship but we are to rest in YHWH.

Anyway how do you act on your work day?

It is a part of human nature and design to need rest.

Abraham Joshua Heschel, author of "The Sabbath", stated that when we set aside a Sabbath of rest that we are in fact building him a palace in time. You see, the Temple is G-d's palace in space, but setting aside one day a week also builds him a palace in time.

I hope this makes sense.

shalom,
yafet.

The day is to be Set apart for the L-rd, yes you can worship Him any time and any place but specific time set aside each week is different.

Ask a wife if it is the same or a husband when during the work week that they talk to each other between work, kids, house, etc if it is the same as when they take a vacation or set aside a date to be together just the two of them with no outside interference?

The L-rd wants that special time with us also.

I think also it is a corporate thing as well, around the world covering the same 24 hour period hearts and minds turn towards the L-rd in full, starting with the lighting of candles, the Kiddish, and doing this even alone still brings one in tune with those who honor the L-rds Sabbath around the world. Hard to explain but I hope you get it.

Thanks Yall, I'd like to add alittle.
This is like part Two, for some reason I just post a post that did not go through ,But it was a lazy Post so?

I also here People say that YAHSHUA broke Sabbath, and that that is there excuse for breaking all LAWS.

Luk 6:1 Now it happened on the second Shabbat after the first, that he was going through the grain fields. His talmidim plucked the heads of grain, and ate, rubbing them in their hands.
Luk 6:2 But some of the Perushim said to them, "Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the day of Shabbat?"
Luk 6:3 YAHSHUA, answering them, said, "Haven't you read what David did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;
Luk 6:4 how he entered into the house of ELOHIM, and took and ate the show bread, and gave also to those who were with him, which is not lawful to eat except for the Kohanim alone?"
Luk 6:5 He said to them, "The Son of Man is lord of the Shabbat."
Luk 6:6 It also happened on another Shabbat that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.
Luk 6:7 The scribes and the Perushim watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Shabbat, that they might find an accusation against him.
Luk 6:8 But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Rise up, and stand in the middle." He arose and stood.
Luk 6:9 Then YAHSHUA said to them, "I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Shabbat to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?"
Luk 6:10 He looked around at them all, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did, and his hand was restored as sound as the other.
Luk 6:11 But they were filled with rage, and talked with one another about what they might do to YAHSHUA.
Luk 6:12 It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
Luk 6:13 When it was day, he called his talmidim, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named emissaries:
Luk 6:14 Shim`on, whom he also named Kefa; Andrew, his brother; Ya`akov; Yochanan; Philip; Bar-Talmai;
Luk 6:15 MattitYAHu; T'oma; Ya`akov, the son of Chalfai; Shim`on, who was called the Zealot;

So this is an example of What is said that YAHSHUA broke the LAW of the Sabbath here.

There are other examoles like Pick up you bed and walk. But I think if you can answer this example it will cover others.

Did he Break Sabbath here or did HE explain Sabbath here? I know my answer here but what is yours?

1) it was then and is now lawful to prepare food to eat on the Shabbat as long as you don't change the form - i.e. you can peel a boiled egg, but not slice it - you can also rub the husk off enough grain to feed yourself, but not enough for others (unless they are ill and can't do it for themself) nor to change it's form as in cooking it.

2) the rabbis had already determined that it was lawful to have compassion on an animal that was injured or fell into a pit on Shabbat - but their halakha did not allow the same compassion on a fellow human being - Yeshua pointed out the fallacy in this.

Yeshua did not break or change ANY of Torah (after all it is HE who gave us Torah and HE who said it was for the Jews forever). He also followed MOST of the traditions, even telling "us" to follow them (see my signature below). BUT there were several places where He specifically and deliberately corrected or clarified a few of the traditions/halakhot - just like He did with Kefa and the "sheet from heaven." (see post Peter's Vision if needed)
