  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Woohoo for Wimbledon!!!

Centre Court just doesn't look the same, does it? Almost looks naked without the roof.

Goodness, how I sometimes long for the old days and the players I grew up watching. I just don't think the game today has the same level of excitement, the same drama. But still one of the best sporting events of the year.

Aww, yay!! Someone who is as excited as I am!! *Love* Wimbledon so so much!

It's almost inevitable it'll be a Federer/Nadal final, but there's always that little voice that says maybe it'll be Tim's year this time...

Also, Andy Roddick :D

Bring on the Pimms!

Green Munchkin,

I predict Lleyton Hewitt to reach the final against Federer this year. Nadal will lose to either Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinals or to Hewitt in the semifinals.

Too bad about Henman. I never thought he got his due as a top player. Got the most of his talent and always provided plenty of drama. He has played 13 five-set matches in his Wimbledon career alone (35 all together in all the majors).
