Most marshmellow products are not approved by Kosher standards. I haven't looked at peeps specifically, but my initial guess is no.

Most marshmellow products get their gelatine from pig/horse bone.

Mind if I answer? they have been around since I was born and I live right up the road from where they are made.

They do contain gelatin from a non-kosher source so aren't Kosher for anytime of year. I hear that there is a campaign to get them to make a kosher version but I don't see that happening any time in the near future.

(I also don't think those goldfish in the one picture are K4P either.

I don't think they would be too hard to make with a kosher marshmallow recipe and a oiled sharp cookie cutter in the shape you want and then roll them in colored sugar?
