This thread was split automatically after 1000 replies and this thread has been automatically created.
The old thread automatically closed is here: "Women VS Men: Race to 1,000 (349)"

Rules to WvM:

"If you are a woman, add 1 to the last post...if you are a man, subtract 1

Clarification: When the count is in the negative numbers it may appear to some to be the opposite of what it is.

Correct Example [-10 + 1 = -9] (Women) and [-10 - 1 = -11] (Men)

If the thread reaches 1000, the women win
If the thread reaches -1000, the men win"

Expanded Rules: If a number is not posted then the person is not considered to be playing and their post does not count either way. If a number is posted, even if it is the wrong one (happens quite often for those poor individuals on dial up), it is counted as "+1" if posted by a woman or "-1" if a man. Back to back posts are not allowed, but accidents happen. Only one post counts though. Players are expected to edit their posts. Players should also double check their posts especially when starting a new page (this is where the most mistakes are made- the reply button always allows you to see the last ten posts). Good Luck and welcome to WvM

Note: Back to back posts if posted by a single person cannot move the count in the genders direction. (i.e. A man/women posting back to back the number does not change.) So if the number is 100 a person's first post moves the number +/- 1 then subsequent back to back posts do not alter the number. So if a man is posting the first post changes 100 to 99, and a women positng would change it from 100 to 101. Hope this helps.

As of the start of this thread the talley is women 61, men 57 wins...

God Bless,

Ty
