Many people say no a woman can not preach sighting 1 Tim 2 but if we look at the king James we see the word usurp authority over men. The word usurp means to act on ones own self interest to take power on ones own ground self interest and self goals. For that matter men should not do it either.
Jesus said call no one rabbi for you are all equal under God, does this not include women? If Jesus said we are all equal how can any one speak against a woman holding an equal position in the church as a man? Most often people are hypocritical with this saying, women can teach men in the world just not in church, so they say there is twpo set of rules one for the church and one for the world, but Jesus says there is one set of rules, we are to live out in the world what is preached in church.
<staff edit>
The will ignore that a woman was a Judge a higher positions than a preacher and she even gave kings commands. Woe unto the man who would say a woman called by God has no right to teach.
Just my two cents so Go. But Please address the points made or do not comment. <staff edit>
