Perfect example of a law no longer valid with the New Covenant. My point for posting an interesting ( to me) view point on why Paul urged wives to obey their husbands. It is because of the evil some women endured by the hands of their husbands. This has been going on for ages. It is best for men to love their wives and not stress obedience or submission. These things come naturally out of love and not out of any law or the desire to control.

I stand corrected. It states a different scenario. I assume it is a misquote from a source I looked into. But an interesting read nonetheless going through all the marital do's and don'ts.
