God commands for the Husband to be the Head of the HOme and the woman to submit to him

the Husband is commanded to submit to the wife by LOVING her in the same way that Christ loved the church

I'm not saying that the marriage will not work I am just saying that it will not be all that God intended it to be

Mr Tenor - before you start throwing scriptures at someone who knows them OH SO WELL - let me inform you that you know nothing about me or my personal life - what do you think GOD would say about me being the head of the household if my husband doesn't believe in GOD? Puts a twist on things doesn't it? Offend me? Yes, by jumping to conclusions instead of asking questions. AND as far as the WORD goes - I let the Holy Spirit interpret the scriptures for me. GOD is my word and HE is my guide. So before you go spouting off again, it would be wise to ask some questions first before you go assuming things that you know nothing about in regards to someone else's life. Things are not always black and white - there are shades of gray my friend. Also, my husband is not capable of loving me in the way that he should according to you b/c he's a non-believer. AND the ONLY one that I will EVER, EVER, EVER submit to is Lord Jesus Christ - if my posts offends you, I apologize for that but this is my truth, my life and if you have a problem with it, take that up with God.......

Tenorvoice ~ Jesus told us to love one another as brother and sister... I think that is how love between two people who are married is supposed to be in its truest form. We are all children of God... not one of us is above the other in his eyes, so how better to honor his love for us that we show each other, including our spouses, that love of equality.

I can protect myself and provide for myself, too I don't need a man to do that for me, I am quite capable. And I felt the same way about that when I was a Christian!

The same as I have raised my daughter. The idea that females
should be raised to be co-dependent is totally ludicrous and idiotic...(IMO)

You speak nothing of oneness, rather (if I read your writing correctly)
you speak of divisions simply by gender or race. That...is racism/sexism.

Too right! There is not much to choose between the wrong thinking imo of a fundamentalist Christian, and a fundamentalist Muslim like the Taliban.

Women are equal to men and there is very little a woman can't do and often do better than a man. Conversely there are many men that prefer to stay at home and look after the kids while the higher wage earner wife goes out to work, that is fine if it suits both partners.
