As a child of the 70s, I loved the Carol Burnette show, Happy Days, the Waltons, Laverne & Shirley, One Day at a Time, Welcome Back Kotter, Charlies Angels, the Love Boat and my absolute favorite - Eight is Enough
This was my lineup too. But you "whipersnappers" need to remember we only had what 4channels to choose from?
Usually, you only had 1-2 other choices if you wanted to watch tv. I think my world went into color in 75?
One day at a time:p Vallery Bertinelli.(Eddie your mental) She still looks good today.(post Jenny)

Startrek, MASH, Sullivans, Brady Bunch, Get Smart etc.
Missed it by that much...Would you believe that much?

Looking at those shows compared to what we have today, I would say, Quality versus Quantity.:preach:
Of course, now I sound like my parents.
get distance stare; They just don't make shows like that anymore.

I can't believe you mentioned My Mother the Car -- which has been voted the worst TV show of all time. Guess maybe we were the two people who were watching it. ;)

I used to love Leave It To Beaver, My Three Sons, and Hazel when I was young (not only 4 channels, it was all black and white, too). Then there was Bonanza every Sunday night. As I grew up I loved Get Smart, F Troop, Hogan's Heroes, My Favorite Martian, the Flintstones (it was a prime time show for a while), Car 54 Where Are You, the Munsters and the Addams Family -- all the zany comedies. And we can't forget the Andy Griffith show, along with it's spinoffs like Gomer Pyle, USMC.

And while they were never my favorite, I can remember many of the westerns from that time like Shane, Rawhide, the Rifleman, Maverick, Have Gun Will Travel, Gunsmoke, and The Big Valley.

Last, my favorite cartoon has to have been Rocky and Bullwinkle; it is amazing how well those cartoons have held up, they are still very funny today.

The Fugitive
The Outer Limits
Ben Casey
Dobie Gillis
Jackie Gleason Show
The Real McCoys

and I hate to admit it, but still one of my all time favorites:

The Beverly Hillbillies
