Your mankind is spiritually powerless interpretation is equally lacking.

Human beings are spiritually powerless. Something Scripture itself is pretty explicit about: All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There is nothing powerful about human beings; we are weak, frail, sinful, and dead in our trespasses.

Perhaps you could offer a definition of "spiritual power", and then show how that relates to Christianity.

I certainly don't have any magical powers. This real life, not Dungeons & Dragons.

Your first point that witchcraft can't do anything at all, is in my experience false. I am not a witch and I don't practice witchcraft as I have a moral issue with using it to cause harm or injury.
However, as you know, a number of my female relatives are witches and I have personal experience that their workings have indeed given rise to actual physical harm to people.
You may not choose to believe that, maybe it conflicts with your world view, but I have seen the intended injurious outcomes come to pass. This has happened a number of times, and beyond the possibility of mere coincidence.
From becoming sick, to mental breakdowns to broken legs. The parts targeted for injury have been injured. That all I have to say on that.

Sure as witches and witchcraft is opposed to The God of The Bible. So as a born again child of God i should have a dislike of this practice/religion. As it come from the darkness of this world and not from The Light of this world. As The Light opposes the darkness.

Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. This became known both to all Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

A friend of mine, raised jewish, then christian, then went back to judaism and studied under a rabbi for 18 months in Israel.. ended up being a skeptic who takes the sabbath extremely seriously, and is still able to provide me prophetic advice sometimes. so anyways..

Back in approximately 2014 he told me that he "crossed over a threshold in the spiritual realm" and then immediately won a bunch of money at the casino and he found a roll of 100 stamps on the ground a week later (worth 44$ at the time iirc). -no demons involved.

Sometime like year later this conversation came to mind and i said out loud "God make him repent"
18 hours later he breaks his ankle.. which then wakes him up a bit and he finds a job (he lives with his parents still)...

Another example of spiritual power... at a pre-birth experience conference. a woman who felt like a Christian to me started her talk off with a warning saying that when she was 5 years of age, she got really good at leaving her body and traveling around and seeing stuff observing people, etc, etc. as in, could do it at will, all the time, day time while awake or at night. till one day she heard: "a male voice speaking with authority told me: "get back inside your body and never do that again" of course that was Jesus. and again, no demons involved.

Elijah rebukes his servant saying: did you not know i was with you in spirit when you joined his chariot?
not only was elijah either remote viewing or astral projecting and watching his servant...
but the servant knew he was being watched!!!

this is before people were born again folks.. the prophets servant was just an average person spiritually. slightly more righteous, they probably kept the sabbath!!!

Another example is a girl half my age who was attracted to me. I took appropriate steps to stay away from her, but we cross paths too many times outside of my control. So anyhow last year her attraction to me was strong enough where she opened a door in the spiritual realm between us (sep 2023 iirc). I never touched her, physically ever, or in the spiritual realm except in sep 2022 when I healed her depression, and she doesn't know it was me, because she didn't make eye contact with me again for 9 months till june of 2023.

The second time she showed up again in the spiritual realm to me... was the saturday before she went to church, on leave (she joined the military fall 2023.) again, no demons involved. and i know this because one of my thoughts towards her.. she heard/saw it.. was repulsed, and immediately shut the door and hasn't opened it since then.

If this was a demon, and not actually her spirit.... it would have continued to tempt me. instead she shut the door.

anyhow, you still think humans are spiritually powerless and can't do "anything"?

Your anecdotes have not convinced me to start believing in magic or convert to Paganism. I continue to remain a Christian.

Historically
Witchcraft has been defined as
1. Abortion
2. Recreational Drugs
3. Biological warfare

There are rituals and "spells" connected with traditional witchcraft but the primary evil associated with the practice has to do with drugs, such as henbane, spanish fly and other "love potion #9" type substances. (recreational drugs)
Carlos Casteneda wrote a book about "shamanism" primarily drug induced states. The "shaman" was properly classed as Brujo (witch)

Biological warfare is well documented in transcripts dating from the middle ages where men were paid to blight a neighbors field with "magic dust."
There are many substances that when reduced to powders and potions can be used to "blight, anthrax being a notable example.
There were reports in darkest Africa of "witchdoctors" who were going to cast a spell of small pox on enemies.
If the witch doctors had vials of "magic dust" properly labeled "variola" that could be sprinkled around, that is not the modern fairy tale version of witchcraft as a harmless superstition promoted by halloween and hollywood.

It’s a sin that can open doors to the demonic.
