Hi, I am an animal lover. I like the cute and cuddly. I like cute little cats and dogs, and their babies, kittens and puppies, are so adorable. I also like rabbits and horses, and I really like pretty birds with bright colors. I am currently petless.
I had hamsters as a little girl, then parakeets, some goldfish, when I was about 4years old before the hamsters, parakeets and gold fish there was a cat, but she bit and scratched me because the poor thing had been abused by her previous owners, and she did not like being touched, but I liked to pet her. So my parents sent her back to the humane society. The parakeet and hamsters eventually died.
We had one hamster left, and we went to the animals shelter to adopt a cat, we thought we could get a young kitten and train it to be nice to the hamster. It turned out mom did not like any of the cats so we looked at dogs. We found an adorable cocker spaniel, he was so cute, a male dog named Lucas, that sat in his cage looking so sweet. I could not help putting my hand between the bars and petting him on his head. My parents tried to stop me, fearing he might bite. But Lucas sniffed and licked my hand, he let me pet him. The people that worked there helped us get to know him, we walked him around the area on collar and leash. So we ended up adopting Lucas. He was a blond, adult, already fixed cocker spaniel. We gave him a bath and cleaned him up. Lucas was gentle and sweet. I loved him.
Then my sister got a blue/budgie parakeet she named Blueberry. Blueberry was cute, lively sweet little bird. He chirped a lot. He did not like being petted or touched. He did give gentle bird kisses though. Lucas got along with Blueberry he learned to be nice to him. Several years later when we moved we had to give up Lucas. when had to send him to the animal shelter. I got my own parakeet in high school. We kept Blueberry.
Later on when my sister was in her second year of college Blue berry died. I had my budgie Apollo. Mom wanted a cat. We got a Persian skinny gray and white cat. She was shy, and sweet and lovable. She liked for me to pet and cuddle her. I loved my cat. Her name was Crissy. Poor Crissy was a sickly cat. SHe did not last as long as I thought, or hoped she would last. SHe died and I was very sad.
After that I got a cockatiel. My cockatiel was very moody. I had her for 7 or 8 years. I had some mental problems and I let my cockatiel fly away. I thought I was being mean to her by keeping her in a cage. I thought she would be happier outside and free.
It's been several years now and I don't have any pets. I would like a cat. I like cats. I am good at taking care of cats. I hope I can get a live cat for Christmas. If only mom would clean up the mess in the house.
