Besides what some may say, our economy wasn't good to begin with. Inflation on producer prices PPI also went down for last month. Using economic data to toot your man's horn will bite you in the end; that's why many say we might be in a stagflation period and are currently headed for a recession accelerated by tariffs. All prices go down when in a recession which is good but unemployment goes up.

The best way to look at economic data is to look at trends from charts. The trend has flatlined since late 2022.

Consumer prices will take some time to come down. This is why Trump won.

Consumption is important for GDP and is why Trump won too many people aren't making the wages to keep up with inflation.
