Isn't it strange that we have windows on our computers & the windows of Heaven ?

We also have Bill Gates and the Gates of Heaven ???

Is this just a coincidence or not ?

It is strange that Bill Gates calls his icon driven operationg system "windows". He should call it "icons". He actually stole it from the Amiga computer. He never paid for it because no one ever patented it.

I reckon he may have got windows from the Bible as they love to counterfeit everything of God.
And isn't it strange that the first apple computer sold for $666.66 and their logo is a bitten apple ?

Bill Gates didn’t invent windowing systems and my computers don’t have Windows, but are running various UNIX-based operating systems. They do have windowing software, X.org specifically, as I dislike Wayland as being un-Unixlike.

Not quite, the windowing GUI was developed by Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC). Apple purchased a license that let them study PARC’s systems and implement systems that used a similiar design. Commodore ripped off MacOS with GEM and got sued, but I don’t know what the status was in terms of the IP of the Amiga.

It was presumably more sound, however, since IBM licensed some aspects of it for the WPS GUI on IBM OS/2, which like the Amiga had a very loyal niche community of users which mostly migrated to Linux and the Mac, although like the Amiga OS, derivatives of OS/2 are still being sold (and it has been modernized with IBM JFS, which is a nice filesystem written for AIX UNIX and also in use in Linux; it also has HPFS, which is an OK filesystem on a par with Mac HFS+ or NTFS, but which is not as nice as JFS, XFS or other more modern filesystems, especially modern copy on write filesystems like ZFS, btrfs and Apple’s new AFS).
