Windows 2000 ...Help!

For some reason I am unable (since yesterday when I finally installed Windows 2000) to add to poster's reputations or use smilies.
Any ideas?
Could it have anything to do with Windows 2000?

could you give us some more info....what OS did you have before....processor speed....memory....and what is poster's reputations??

As these features rely on javascript, it is likely that the scripting engine of your browser has been disabled.

It's probably a java script issue, the popup window isn't opening, if it's what I'm thinking of. Did yo update to IE6 or get Mozilla for your browser?

My smilies work.

What happened was the browser I had downloaded was corrupted. Even though I had javascript enabled it wasn't working.
Downloaded a new browser.
