Hostel comes out tomorrow here, will you go see it?

Ive been trying to get my hands on some tickents I cant wait to see it

Eww no.. and I don't even know why I'm saying eww.. but the commercial leads me to think the title might better be bloody and bloodier ... not my cup of tea... I had the same feeling about Saw... + sensationalist adverts about paramedics being called in for audience members finishes it off for me. But horror movies... they're generally not my thing. Let me know if there's an actual story to it will ya?

Yikes no way. I couldn't even watch Wolf Creek I almost threw up and had to leave I wish I was joking.

The movie doesn't really appeal to me. Movies about people being tortured, even though they're obviously fictitious, are still just a cut above snuff films in my opinion.

I'm there. I want to have my mind blown by a horror movie for once. Usualy I'm disappointed. I tried tonight, but it was sold out. I'll try tomorrow night.

Usually for me to enjoy horror (and I do love horror), it has to have some semblence of creativity (like Silent Hill and that totally awesome red dude featured in my avatar).

Hostel doesn't look creative at all. I can't handle watching people being grahpically tortured. I can deal with all the blood and guts in the world, but when it comes to limbs being chopped off and eyes being impaled while the victim is still alive, I'm done. I almost walked out of a showing of Audition. There's no way I could sit through this movie.

I got a couple of friends together and we're going see it once, then see it again and play Gutshot. Gutshot is where you eat as much as you can and then watch a horror movie, whoever keeps it down the longest wins

Torture and horror aren't the same thing in my book, and while I admit this may just be the way the studios are marketing the film, it looks like "Ok let's lock some people up in a room and torture them for two hours to see if we can get the audience to puke."

I just saw it. All I can say is "WOW."

It was so hyped up that in a sense I was disappointed mildly, but if I went into it not knowing what it was, it would have made my head spin.

I was thoroughly satisfied, so I probably don't need a movie like that again for a while.

I will almost definietly not see it. I love horror films of the traditional meaning of the word, which is stuff more like Donnie Darko, but I HATE the slasher flicks which seem to be synonomous with horror these days.

I'm not going to see a movie about torturing people becuase I'm afraid it will follow what seems to be the cardinal rule of modern horror filming: the pretty girl must die. If Hostel follows that rule I will seriously wonder what sort of sick f--k the director is, and if it doesn't it will be a yawn fest.

In Donnie Darko it wasn't nor in Scream, nor Evil Dead 2. I don't watch the "Slumber Party Massacre" cheesy-slasher type films you seem to be hinting at to begin with.

Modern movies have to have black people to get killed. Im not trying to be racist, Im just saying how the movies work. If your black and your in a movie, your dead and usually your the first one to die.

There are some noteable exceptions but for the most part, its the black guy that dies

I've heard of this but never noticed it. In modern movies I've mostly seen blacks portrayed as super-cool bad-a mofos.
