God will not get mad at you for using lowercase G in his name. He knows your heart, and intentions as you said in your post here. We all make mistakes. Don't fret, as over worrying about things isn't the best to maintain a healthy relationship with God. We are not meant to live in angst around God, but in joy. Maybe, set your device to autocorrect the singular name "God", but keep the plural lowercase, unless you are a historian or history teacher that has to use the phrase "Greek god" a lot for your job, then don't set autocorrect to do that, as a Greek god must remain lowercase, unless you accidentally slip on the caps or shift button for some reason.I have some visual impairment so, I cannot see when typing on my cell phone. I talk into the phone.
My friend posted an encouraging update about "God turning good from bad". I replied with a comment about the story of Joseph(which I love)
When Joseph said, "“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good ". i hadn't noticed that it came out as little "g" instead of "G.
I usually try to correct it and make sure I don't make this error, but I made the comment early in the morning.
A lady replied with the reminder "God". Then my friend told me,"I say this in the nicest possible way but you can't spell God with a little 'g'
I know that. I was quite upset as it was publicly made known. I shared with the lady how I was talking into the phone and I didn't do it intentially.
I sent a PM to my friend to remind her again of my visual impairment, etc. She ignored my message.
So I decided to remove my comment, I felt sad and ashamed. I know they were both upset with me.
Then I had a really bad day. Everything went wrong for me. Is God punishing me?
I somehow feel as though I must have committed a very bad sin.
God knows my heart. I didn't mean to do it.
What do you think about this?
Is God angry with me?
