This thread is mainly for asking American, Christian creationists if they welcome the increasing numbers of Muslims in the US because they will help shore up the numbers of creationists here, which may be decreasing- as well as for asking Christians in general what they expect on that topic, and why.
First - let's stay on topic, and not devolve into discussions of the evidence for evolution - there are plenty of other threads about that.
Second, let's base discussions on evidence whenever possible. Some data that may be relevant:

I had one or two slightly frisky discussions years ago with kids who belonged to fundamentalist Christian churches ... now it is Islamic, overwhelmingly.
Earlier this year Usama Hasan, imam of te Masjid al-Tawhid mosque in Leyton, east London, and a senior engineering lecturer at Middlesex University, received death threats after suggesting that Islam and Darwinism could be compatible.
Tensions had risen last December when a Saudi cleric told a congregation in Birmingham that those who believed in evolution were unfit to lead Friday prayers.
Based on all of this, here are the questions for this thread:
