Don't let a small group decide for you

I used to like the idea of forum-specific mods, but now that I see how one small group has wikied that and seems to be using it as a tactic to take over the D&D team, I've changed my mind.

Not necessarily. With all of the wonderful poli-cons on staff, migrating over to be on D&D, it is likely that one of them would be the next admin. If you're wanting to transfer, specifically to "one day be an Admin" you may have a better chance sticking with Ministry. It looks like DeDe is transferring from Ministry. So there will be an opening. You're a good guy. Do what is best for you, and what would make you the happiest, not what would make somebody else happiest.

I think that suzy and i'ddie et. al, are hoping to get Ben Johnson removed, but I'll tell you what, it won't be happening. He's not leaving and from what I've seen in the D&D forums, he'll be voted back on staff no problem in January. Of course it'll be up to the D&D Team to vote him back up to Admin at that time but who knows who will still be on D&D in January. One thing is fairly certain.... the poli-con folks will probably all still be here.

Wherever you are, just ask the Lord to use you to meet His desires, and friend, you'll be great. Whether it's here or on another team.

I agree with learning to wiki, and then finding a way to assure that SMs and Admins are not elected by one forum alone.

Another option is to elect enough of your own forum-specific mods to outvote them.
