I just picked it up. Soooo cool! It's my girlfriend's Valentine's Day present. :)
wait, you're getting your girlfriend a gift with "fit" in the title for valentines day.... doesn't anyone else see the problem inherent to this?
unless she specifically asked you for it, it can be a trouble maker to give something like that as a valentines gift......
"So what, you're saying I'm fat/not Thin enough/not good enough?"
meantime, you could send it to me, and help me drop 17 pounds..... ;)

Yes, I am. "Fit", along with a gift for a girl, in this case, doesn't really have the same connotation associated with it since she is Japanese and English words often have a different meaning (of varying degrees) to a Japanese person.

At least... this is what I'm counting on!!!

In all honesty though, Wii Fit is HUGELY popular here and has been since it came out in December. In fact, it's hard to find one since it's usually out of stock. Heck, even the Wii is hard to find still. The only system that is easy to find is the X-Box 360 and copies of Halo 3. They're all collecting dust on the shelves.

Also, she's been bugging me for Wii Fit since I got her a Wii for Christmas. :)

Smash Brothers X comes out this week, too! She actually wants it! Yay! I can buy it before you! ("Super Smash Brothers Brawl" in English)
On the flip side... games like Grand Theft Auto or Oblivion literally take a YEAR or more for the Japanese version to come out. I'm forced to pay import prices to get the North American version. Not yay...

You gotta tell me how brawl is.
I'm pretty sure that most game review sites like 1up.com have already their impressions, haven't they?

Anyway, even though I wanna pick it up... I probably won't for awhile. We'll be too busy playing Wii Fit! In fact, we still haven't gotten through Mario Galaxy yet... and Mario Party 8 and Wii Sports still see regular play.

The average Wii owner in Japan only owns 3 games, and it's because the Nintendo games for it are so fun! There's not a lot of reason to buy more games so soon. The only Wii games I'm really considering this year, other than Wii Fit and Smash Brothers X, are Family Ski (skiing with the Wii Fit board!) and Mario Kart. :)
