Wicked- a New Musical

I'd love to see the musical. My friend is going to let me borrow her book because she just finished it. She said it was awesome- and definitely a "grown-up's" book- which I was glad to hear.

oh yeah, the book is definitly a "grown-up's" book, and it's really good. It's a lot different from the show though.

I just heard that Gregory Maguire wrote a sequal to Wicked called Son of a Witch, which will be released on September 27, 2005.

Thats a terrible review! I saw it with the Original Broadway cast and LOVED it.

i went to nyc to see it in march. we got our tickets from ebay and they were less expensive. it was REALLY good and funny.

i so want to see it. i got hooked on it b/c my friend was listening to the c.d. now like all the ppl in our youth who like musicals r hooked on it.i'm so excited to hear there's a book. i'll have to tell my friends. is wicked playing any where else?

I saw it two weeks ago on Broadway and loved it. The end of the first part before intermission started was AMAZING. I was a little disappointed in the finale though but I think because I assumed it would live up to the ending of the first part, which sadly it did not. Overall I'd rate it a B+.

I saw Wicked in New york with my class. It was great. Buy the cd. The songs are great! Singing is great! Play is great! Those who have not seen it see it.

i listened to just about the whole c.d. but i'm confused on one part. on #4 when they talk to elifabu {or whatever her name is} what is goin on there. i didn't get it. also is the brodway coming anywhere near east tn. if aso i would love to see it.

Are you talking about "what is this feeling?"

I don't remember there being a part in that song where the students are talking to Elphaba...I know that there is a part where they are talking to Galinda....

Maybe I don't have the right song...

That's the song "What's this feeling?"

I'm not entirely sure what goes on there either, but if you look up the lyrics to the song it might say who is saying what. That might give you a better idea of who is talking to who.

Do a search for "Wicked Lyrics" I do know there is a site, I forget the name of it but it's a lyrics site for only Musicals.
