Wicked- a New Musical

It's about the lives of Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba aka the Wicked Witch of the West and how they met and it tells the stories of their lives before Dorothy dropped on the scene in OZ....I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see it. I have the CD from the musical and I love the music! I'm dying to go watch it!

I'm actually in the process of reading the book now...I'm about half way through it. I'm SOOOO Jealous that you got to see it though, I want to see it so bad. I have the cd and I love listening to the music from it.

I went to an International Affairs Seminar in New York then Washington, and we saw Wicked and Hairspray while we were in New York.

We are going to New York in a couple of weeks, and I reallllly want to see this play! If not, maybe the Lion King.

Good luck getting tickets! Depending on where you stay, you may be able to get them through the hotel or what have you...I tried calling the box office to get tickets and they were sold out until the end of May....and that was back in the beginning of march. -_-

I"m going to this show in July!! I"m so excited! I've been to the theater many times here in Boston but this time it will be at the Gershwin in NYC. Two friends of mine and I are staying in Times Square for two nights and I cannot wait. I've been to NYC once in my life but I was very young so I barely remember it. Not sure if we got the best seats, we'll be in row z in orchestra, though I think that's not the main floor if I am reading my map correctly. Oh well , just being inside there will be cool enough for me!

I really want to see this show!! Our choir sang a song from it and it was reallllly pretty ("For Good"). When our Choir/Band went to NYC we wanted to get tiks to see it but instead we ended up seeing either "Phantom"/"Beauty and the Beast" or "Rent"/"Brooklyn". Sometime in the future hopefully...
