  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

must we kill a living creature for food?
If I'm correct the Bible says something about animals being put here partly for food.
Why would God give us something to eat that we have to end the life of?
I thought life was a gift. I don't see why we're allowed to take that gift from all the animals we eat.

'Cause nothing tastes quite as good as a fresh elk burger?;)

All creatures on earth take something that was once living and ingest it to make food, why is man any different?

Know you not...that all flesh will know the Salvation of the Lord.

He knows....even when the lowly sparrow falls.

This is not the life that lasts....

(we are gonna see Dinosaurs...awesome !)
Can you provide some scripture to back that up? I have not heard that before.

Apparently before the fall we were given plants to eat as were the animals if I recall correctly.

After man's rebellion, God killed an animal to clothe (cover) Adam and Eve.

The world we live in now, is not how God intended the world to be and the world we live in now is a result of man's rebellion against God.

In heaven or the new earth, both which will be after judgement of all man, again seem to show that animals will not hurt us or each other..

But there is a time and purpose to everything.
God made the animals for our use, didnt he?

I was just commenting today that we have
NO venison this year, and last years is
nearly gone.
So you got some huh?
Like how much do you have?
