I just thought that I would write something about my aunt. I am writing it to feel better. So please forgive me if it sounds stupid. My aunt commited suicide. I really miss her. She died about a 2 years ago. I did not even know what she had planned.I wish that I could have helped her. I have so many questions that I wish that I could ask her! She was a very religious person. We used to go to the same church, but I quit going. About a week before she.... killed herself, she came over and looked me in the eyes and said, I know that you are going to find a church to go to and you are going to be happy. It may not be the Catholic church, but you will find one." I never knew what she was talking about until last year. I now go to a Pentecostal church and would not change it for the world. I wish she was still here!

Don't be so hard on yourself about not being able to help - you were very young and it was not your responsibility. You shouldn't be carrying such a heavy burdon on your shoulders. I pray that you can find some peace.

i am here not to saying anothing bad about your aunt. hope you understand and don't mind. i just don't understand why people that deep in religions still will choose to suicide? is it she knew that, suicide is a sin also?

Sometimes things just don't go as you plan them and you don't always think past your own pain.

Thanks Lordismyobsession16. I didn't know her plan. If I did, I would have encouraged her to seek help. I will try not to beat myself up.

My heart goes out to you. I lost my brother to suicide and know that feeling of responsibility that you feel. But we must remember that it isn't our fault. If we had any knowledge of what they were planning, we would have held them tight and begged them not to do it.

It could never be your fault, even if you blame yourself, i will be praying for you. i lost a close to friend to siucide, and it doesn't get any easier, just further away. So i pray that God woul pick up the peices of your broken herat, lay a loving hand on your shoulders, show you that he is their always, and that he want's you to run into his arms like a little child running to their fathers arms, letting him hug you and comfort you till the pain has gone.

Just wanted to say you are not alone in the questions you have. My son took his own life just last year and i had no idea until it was done. To me he appeared happy and secure in who he was. I was wrong, but I truly believe with Gods guidance he has found the peace he was seeking. Maybe i'll never have my answers but with the prayers of mine and others God has given me the strength to go on. My prayers go out ot you and anyone who is going through the same tragedy.
