You are all heretics, why? I'll tell you why-

Because most of you do not venerate the holiest object in all of Christendom:

It’s no joke, it’s one of the main reasons why the most Holy sites in all of Christendom is falling into ruin.
God showed us what HE thought of "Holy Sites" in 70 ad.

That's exactly why it's a joke.

Miracles regularly occur at pretty much all the sites linked to Christ's time on the earth. 70 AD was specifically to bring an end to the temple sacrifices, as they had been fulfilled in Christ's crucifixion.

You are all heretics, why? I'll tell you why -

Because most of you do not recognize the holiest object in all of Christendom:

"By this will all men know that you are My disciples, ... if you have LOVE for one another."

John 13:35

Being Christ's church is not so much about being right or wrong ... it's about representing Him and perpetuating His LOVE ...

Looking at the Wikipedia page, I would conclude that the OP's complaint is about continuing denominational disharmony.

P.S.: We can still love each other while we don't yet fully agree with each other. We probably will not agree with each other until we see Jesus [1 John 3:2], anyway.

Forgive me folks, but this is a non-debate forum and I'm not at all sure that the OP's intent fits within this forum.

Perhaps if the title and OP are edited.

If necessary we can close the thread temporarily in order to prevent posts contrary to the SoP.

I don't understand the intent yet.

OK. An Eastern Orthodox guy is telling me I'm a heretic. Sort of a 'dog bites man' story? I'm not inclined to read further.

What makes ladder holy?
The ladder itself is not holy. It's at a church in Jerusalem that is likely the location of Golgotha, the place of Christ's crucifixion.

Multiple different denominations claim ownership of the church, and in 1853 it was decreed that all the churches share ownership. As such in order for anything to be moved or changed requires the approval of all the churches (something the Catholic Church has resolved not to do until the Catholic and Orthodox churches reach a state of ecumenism).

Moving the ladder would almost certainly cause a riot. For example, in 2002 a Coptic monk moved a chair into the shade. The resulting brawl hospitalized 11 people.

I figured with my intense exaggeration people would have understood it was a joke. Clearly I overestimated CF's grasp of dry humor

I wasnt actually calling anyone a heretic. Maybe if you had a little knowledge about what the image was, you would have realized it was a joke instead of being rude.
