  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Archy -- did you read the article? The paleontologist found one animal per 100 square meters which is extremely rare and suggests that many more will be found at the site.

From the article:
The Frick area contained the bones of one animal per 100 square meters, Sander said, so the entire area might contain bones of 100 more Plateosaurus.
NOWHERE in the article does it even suggest that two finds might be considered a "mass grave" or that the finding of a mass grave is anything more than speculation.

Not sure why you feel the need to discredit Reuters, but the veracity of a news article says nothing about the quality of the research covered in the article, and the article is not even misleading as you claim!

i read it and saw what was said, but it is still misleading.

over the opages i think i have proved my point that believers cannot trust or follow secular scientists for they are goin gin the wrong direction with their work, discoveries, theories and so on

anything that omits God, denies the supernatural, ignores the reqirements of God should be shunned.

the scientific evidence is wrong as it omits data and comes to false conclusions. the Bible is very clear that believers are not to follow the world or its thinking so why do people who say they believe in God ignore His wishes?

So, does the Bible anywhere say there is no such thing as evolution?

As an aside, I would add that my Chritsian chums to a man (and woman in the case of chumesses) follow God but believe in evolution. They see no conflcit.

Should I get rid of my phone book? Car manual? Recipe books? Failure to answer these questions will only show that you have no clue what you're talking about.

Oh, so you'll be shutting off your computer and throwing it out then?

Last time I checked mine said, "Intel Inside" not "God Inside" and it didn't come with a pre-loaded Bible and Strong's. My instruction manual also says I'm to call technical support if I have a problem, not a prayer line.

I'm assuming the same is true for you and that you won't want to be a hypocrite.

I believe scientists when they tell me voltage = current * resistance. I hope you do to, else you will be shocked.
