  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey, you really should know something about a field of research before you make such bold statements.

your personal attack is ignored. i do know something but if you had taken the timwe to post something constructive according to the topic and not attack the poster you would see that.

i can make such statements because i do know the field and i know they don't know. read the article again, they only have 1 statue as 'evidence' and such thinking is based upon conjecture because they have never found a royal aztec tomb before.

they may be right but then again, they are not usually.

Are you sure you ignored it? It sounds like you tried to counter it. That's sorta the opposite of ignoring something.

Dig a little deeper archie (you are an archaeologist after all) and you'll find the information you desire. You really think a Yahoo news article is going to give all the pertinent facts?

Sorry, but your attacks have been deeply insulting to entire professions. And they do not seem to be very well researched from your part.
I didn't intend it as a personal attack Arch.
But your statement was very bold. And your posts have been quite the attacking type.
Sorry, you provoked me and I allowed myself to be provoked.

stick to the topic of the thread. we do not trust secular scientists because they assume things they cannot prove thenwork towards a result with that presupposition in mnd.

they are about as objective as a mother when her child gets accused of a crime.

they make these fantastic statements to draw interest and they do not have a clue because they haven't even dug down to the tomb yet. THEY DO NOT KNOW and they are making claims based on minute evidence that could mean anything.

There's no such thing as a secular scientist. There are scientists who accept the evidence of their eyes, and there are the lying liars who claim to be creation scientists. Creationism & science are a contradiction in terms. Creationism is a heretical offshoot of Christianity dedicated to telling lies about the world. And about God.

we do not trust the lying liars who call themselves creation scientists because they have been shown up as the liars they are and they still persist in their lying.

We are used to this by now. Wild fantastical conjecture and speculation with not a whit of evidence.

There's no such thing as a secular scientist

actually, there is. if they are not christian, then they are secular. basic christianity 101.

Creationism & science are a contradiction in terms

science is a creation of God, they can't be contradictory, it is the sinful men who have perverted science which try to make it contradictory.

Creationism is a heretical offshoot of Christianity dedicated to telling lies about the world. And about God.

how wrong you are.

Prove it archie. let's see credible links that they were making false claims, the yahoo link doesn't count.

you ignore the fact that i have been doing that throughout this thread. but then again you are like assyrian,a misrepresenter.

We have ....

....

So - finally - we have Archie's definition of "secular science". "Science as practiced by non-Christians".

Much of the world might differ with that definition, but that is Archie's.

I'm confused. I currently do research, but I'm a Christian. Is my science secular or non-secular? My research group also has 3 Indian people, who practice Hinduism. Is their science secular or non-secular? Well, regardless if it is or not, at least we know that since we all follow the scientific method, we 4 grad students have more scientific output than all of Creation Science combined (we each have papers in peer reviewed journals).

Much like you claimed that Jerome was a liar but did nothing to back it up. Hmm there's a pattern emerging here.

Help us out here Archie - write better English!

There will then be fewer misunderstandings.

The finds show that an area known for Plateosaurus finds for decades may be much larger than originally thought.
Our amateur paleontologist found two Plateosauruses on a building site. It sounds like other Plateosauruses had been found within 1.5 km of the area.
