Rubbish, utter, utter, rubbish.
I celebrate Pesach every year- have my whole life. I don't think there would be anyone on this forum who has done it in the most frum manner as I have in my life. Not one person- except for the Orthodox Jews here. When some MJ tells me that they celebrate Passover to me it looks like a kind of "McPassover". I've done it. I don't think you have. I'll do it again and again- it's the story of my people. I have no idea why Gentiles want to have their own version.
The first historic Easter, on the other hand, is the obvious fulfillment of Pesach. It's not pagan- it's Jewish. It's the Passion story. It's not about eggs or anything else- it's about the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua. Whackos on here gripe on and on about the "Date"of Easter or the English name for it- as if these things really had some legalistic binding on us. Such things pale in the light of the Cross and the empty Tomb. There is liberty in the church that she can celebrate things as she sees fit- for all days are covered by the Cross.
As I said before, if you think celebrating the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua is against some law (that oddly enough no one has heard of) then you're doing it wrong.
Christians celebrate Easter every day of their life. There is no containing this great event to one weekend a year. Now, to have some new religious spirits tell us that we have to celebrate "Passover" (and they don't even know *HOW* to celebrate Passover!) instead of remembering the death, burial and resurrection of Yeshua in unity with our saved brethren is frankly very suspect. There's a lot of legalistic spirits around here lately.
