nah....that's not it! My theory for you, me and the other gals on here is that we haven't met any men IRL that are MAN ENOUGH to see our awesome qualities. I'd trade pretty much anyone in Indiana for some of the sweet fellas here on the CF.

Indeed. Sometimes it's hard to believe the fellas on here are even real, but I guess anything's possible, including males with true godly qualities. You men ought to teach seminars so all the loser males elsewhere can learn how to be better.

God has blessed me with several qualities:

I am generally responsible.
I am honest.
I am fairly intelligent.
I've been told that I'm handsome.
I've been told that I look younger than I am - that means long range value, ladies.
I am a virgin.
I have fairly diverse skills and talents.
I don't have any major debt, and after today I will have absolutely none.
Fearing God has kept me out of a lot of trouble.
I know what I can do when I put my mind to it.
I know how to keep a job.
I seek after wisdom.
I am capable of seeing people's needs.

To go with some of what was said about true godly men. Understand that guys are in the same situation. We have a hard time finding true God fearing women. I have meet a handful in my life and no more. It is an awesome thing when you find one. A proverbs 31 and 2timothy 2:9 woman. In my opinion they are rare but we live in a big world.

good qualities now? Alright...

1. I've been told that I have amazing insight into situations and people (though it is mainly in the words that they speak/write and a general feeling that I get about them)

2. Like others, I have a hard time being dishonest

3. Kids seem to like me... they may not necessarily respect any authority that I may have, but they at least like me.

4. I have some understanding of Scripture (and a biting passion for its truth), and I am able to preach/teach, if given enough time to prepare.

5. I am tall... which is especially noticeable here in Korea. (I guess the blue eyes and brown hair also give me away as a foreigner, if the map book and height don't already).

6. Well, I've been called "nice", "funny", and "cute"... I don't really know what that means, or if that is something that can be counted as an endearing quality, or just something that girls say to a child or when there is nothing else to say...

7. I find myself playing the role of listener/confidante/confessor on more occasions than I can count. Although I am not sure that any who are attracted to me for this reason are attracted because they really like me, or if it is a twisted kind of transferrance of any listening ear...

8. I tend to find other guy friends who quickly become the talk of the girls. So attractive by association??

9. I fight and try to keep my promises when I make them, as integrity is very important for me, and I feel terrible when I am unable to keep it... or when I forget...

10. I prefer a good book or a movie with feeling and good characters (which would include "chick flicks") over sports (which I find mind numbingly boring usually) or the quick action films (which I often find rather shallow and unappealing, except for special effects...)

11. I am generally easygoing.

12. (12? woo hoo! I made it to 12!!!) My life thus far has been interesting, to say the least, and it will likely remain so for quite some time. So things are definitely not boring (well, not usually, anyway... and there can be the occasion for being bored and all, but generally in looking back...)

1. I really mean it when I ask people how they're doing, and I want to hear if they've had a bad day.

2. Even if the honest truth hurts my fragile ego, I want to hear it, but I won't hold it against anyone.

3. I have a good verbal memory, and if I was listening at the time, I can remember exactly what was said by whom. I recall the obscurest comments about likes and dislikes, and I can pick up a conversation exactly where it left off two hours later.

10. I want to read anybody's poetry, no matter how sappy it is. I want to see anybody's artwork, no matter how crummy it looks. I want to hear anybody's heartfelt singing, no matter how off-key it is.

11. Even so, I don't press anybody for anything they don't feel like sharing.

13. I don't give up. Icelandic has some tough phonetics, and German's syntax spins my mind in circles, but I keep at them. My job leaves my hands bleeding and painful at the end of an 11-hr work day that doesn't earn me much, but I keep at it.
