1 Chronicles 16:30: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable."
Psalm 93:1: "Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ..."
Psalm 96:10: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ..."
Psalm 104:5: "Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken."
Isaiah 45:18: "...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast..."
The earth is fixed and immovable. Have you ever known the earth to "unfix" itself ?
It cannot mean that God never causes the earth to move. Yes, Psalm 104:5 says that the earth cannot be shaken, but other verses say that God does move the earth:
“He shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble;” (Job 9:6 NKJV)
“Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry.” (Ps 18:7 NKJV)
“You have made the earth tremble; You have broken it; Heal its breaches, for it is shaking.” (Ps 60:2 NKJV)
“They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.” (Isa 2:19 NKJV)
“To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the LORD And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily.” (Isa 2:21 NKJV)
“Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place, In the wrath of the LORD of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.” (Isa 13:13 NKJV)
“The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.” (Joe 3:16 NKJV)
“"For thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;” (Hag 2:6 NKJV)
“whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven."” (Heb 12:26 NKJV)
