CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The mother of King Lemuel. She seems like an interesting person.
Well...the Hebrew word used in Genesis 1 is Elohim which is plural refering to the trinity as a whole. It's hard to explain to most people who don't understand that God is plural/unified multiple forms. So, to my understanding, The Father was speaking with Jesus and The Holy Spirit...

I'm a Media Manager. I take photos, edit them, work with print advertising and social media.
I love hiking or reading, but it seems like haven't had time for either much lately. Been working 2 jobs...my weekend job is at a cafe and the people are fab!
I loved Beauty and the Beast, Rigoletto, and The Snowman.

It's hard to choose one thing. My family has been there for several generations and I appreciate the rich history of the state.
I also enjoyed the climate, the culture, can I just say that I love Vermont?
I really enjoyed that so many people were into organics and natural living.
Crunchy peanut butter on homemade toast makes sense more to Vermonters than I think it does to southerners...
