"I do, and if you read it carefully, in no place was the healing commanded."
Really??
"In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." isn't a "Command" in your world????
No sense in carrying this any further, then.
My previous reply about New Agers predisposition with metaphysical spirituality was with reference to now faiths post shown below. Wasn't yet made aware the direction this thread was heading considering now faith's post and this being a debate forum.
Do you have a deliverance ministry testimony or a self deliverance testimony in which you found using the word command along with your following words accomplished the objective? Why do you capitalize the word Thee in reference to satan? Isn't the capitalization and use of the word "Thee" intended more as a reference to God than satan? Or are you just seeing if we're paying attention

The scripture that i'm most familiar with in which the word command is used is Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
I Command You Satan in the Name of the Lord
To Take up Your Weapons and Flee
For the Lord Has Given Me Authority
To Walk All over Thee.
Commanding sickness off, and fear to go in the name of Jesus.
Fevers, bone pain, fear of crowds, fear of public speaking. Fear of heights, dangerous traffic situations on a bicycle. Fear of witnessing for Christ on the street.
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, Why could we not cast it out? So Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.
30 Now there was a herd of many swine feeding at a distance from them. 31 The demons began to entreat Him, saying, If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine. 32 And He said to them, Go! And they came out and went into the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.
Years later Hagin (as a seasoned Believer) tells of once laying in bed about ready to call it a night when he saw a little demon peering over the end of his bed. He says he just laughed at it, turned over and went to sleep.
Deliverance from demonic oppression isnt included as one of the nine supernatural Gifts. James writes, Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Did Jesus "Command" satan to leave when satan was attempting to tempt Jesus? Did Michael "Command" satan to leave when when they were disputing over the body of Moses?
Great point! Jesus didn't need to be delivered from Satan or have a demon cast out of Him.
This Youtube by Derek Prince is about Christians being demonized. What's your take on the last minute (5:30 to 6:30).

I was sitting in a chair and he was sitting beside me and put his hand on my shoulder. And it was like, I can only say it was like cats fighting within my chest. I have never experienced such intense conflict within me. And I let out a long prolonged, sustained roar. Not just a shout a roar. And at that moment I knew I had been delivered from a demon of cancer.
Acts 10:38 "You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."
This verse shows sickness has a spiritual connection.
You don't have to get caught up in what exactly is the problem. Sickness can be commanded off, in Jesus name.
Acts 3:6
So I confess the word of God and meditate on it to build belief.
1 John 3:22 "and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight."
I don't command demons, I command sickness. I have had measured success. Much better with my own family then with others.
It is not really the prayer or command but the believing faith that is important. My experience is it happens faster with commands. Yet I have had trouble in my belief and others have ridiculed and laughed at me. But I don't look to myself, I look to Jesus and His Word.
There have been times when I have said, "Be gone Satan" or "Get out of here Satan". Those are times of doubt or confusion or fear.

Have you ever commanded a demon to depart/leave a born again demonized Christian?
It sounds like you have had some good results commanding (with prayer) a demon to leave a demonized person that has been inflicted with a disease, illness, addiction, bad habit, or some malady and was completely set free.
Have you come to the conclusion that when you say, "I command you ..." that the demon almost immediately leaves; whereas, before it might have taken you longer to see a person delivered from demonic activity.
