Why newborn babies are atheists

All humans can be divided into two categories:

1) Those who hold the belief that a god exists (theist)
2) Those who don't fall into category #1 (atheist)

Since newborn babies wouldn't even be aware of the concept of a god, they don't hold a belief that a god exists. Therefore they fall into category #2 and are atheists.

Weeeel... im not a theist, but are you sure babies are atheist in the sense you describe? Maybe tgey DO have certain information pre-recorded in their DNA even before birth? Like, existance of a higher other-dimensional cinsciousness. Birds have complex navigation info hard-wired in their brains pre hatching as evidenced by stability of seasonal migration paths. Other reflectorial behaviour. If large sets of data can be written in newborn organisms, why nit an abstract idea of this sort? If it's true or not is besides the point.
