Evangelical Pastor Claims Jesus Hasn't Returned Because People Are Not Donating

This is semi old news but it just appeared today on my tablet. This pastor is such a contartist. Claiming that Jesus hasn't returned because people haven't donated enough to his church (and churches in general). He claims that people who give him money will cause God the Father to say "Go get em" and its emotional to him. My favorite part of his speech is "Jesus wants to see us as much as we want to see him." as if Jesus thinks highly of scam artists. And he also claims that what he has to say is biblical and based on the Bible. Really? Since when has God been so financially driven? Jesus hasn't returned yet because not all of the Elect have come to Christ or been born yet.

All false, all money grubbing bigotry. I can't believe anybody would give this false teacher even one single penny.

Duplantis one of those prosperity ministers who lives in a 35 000 square foot home and owns more than one private jet.

No mystery as to where his heart is.

They made this claim at Victorython, a fundraising event on one of Kenneth Copeland's TV networks. I see they are holding another Victorython in two weeks. How much do you think it will take to get Jesus to come back this time?

I honestly haven't heard of him until today. So he is rich like Futrick? That is just sad that people follow him and give him all that money. He for sure will not escape God's wrath.

Exactly! How much does he think a Christian has to give to the Church for Jesus to return when he has already collected all of these millions that you said? I dislike Pastors like Futrick who only care about money. Sure we are supposed to give to our local church but that isn't going to make Jesus return any more than not giving money. Just totally bogus.

Actually, I believe that would be counter tovwhat the Bible says.

IF everyone in the church loved money more than their God (as we will assume is the reason the give not because a man said to do so) then the love of many would grow cold and that is spoken of.... so IF the amount of donations were to play ANY part in the timing of the return of Christ... it would hasten it..... but to think even that would be the outcome is ridiculous... it is His time, not our own.

But there is certainly a great delusion taking place.

My previous post shows the mammon beast having a good laugh while getting the lion's share of the prosperity profits.

This actually made me laugh out loud.

I know right? It has absolutely nothing to do with Christ's return he is just bit by the money bug. Needs to pay for his multi million dollar mansion and the 4 Ferraris in his garage and his multi million dollar jet.

Jesse Duplantis should be thankful every day that Jesus hasn't returned yet to deliver him the wrath he so rightly deserves.

I couldn't agree more. Pastors like him won't escape God's judgement. They should be VERY afraid.

I've often thought that people who do things like this must not actually, truly believe in God, or they would be terrified.
