See, we (all us Muslims) could provide you with Qur'anic and scriptural references till we drop. We can engage in argumentation over this until the end of time with you (I for one am not interested) and even if we present all of the correct and true information you will still disregard it dearie.

If you want an answer as to why it is better that is something you will have to search for in your own heart and mind. Because, truthfully, you really don't want or care about our answers, do you?


Another point regarding Christians that was brought up earlier...

Not all Christians are Trinitarian Christians. Not all Christians believe that Jesus is G-d...

If you want an answer as to why it is better that is something you will have to search for in your own heart and mind.

No offense meant, but Jesus said, out of the heart comes defilement and wickedness.It would be best to ask God to lead one, than relying on our corrupt hearts etc...

its been an interesting read on my part and i thank you all for this, but like the OP questions, i genuinely want an answer to the following verses if i may from a Muslim
Surah 9 [29] Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

They beleive in everything EXCEPT Muhamed. so, you either kill them, or force them to become muslims, or take Jizya from them and make them feel themselves subdued.
Muhamed commanded you not to greet the people of the book:

You seem to want answers for your question but when someone gives you an answer you ignore it. Why are you ignoring the answer they are giving you??? I guess you ignore it because you dont want to accept the truth.

You seem to think they are cruel and there religion says you either worship Allah or you die....is that correct??? If so I didnt know this...wow. But then again Jesus says basically the same thing, right??? You either worship Jesus or you burn FOREVER!!! I would rather choose Allah and die rather than choose Jesus and burn forever!!!!!! Perhaps you should study Islamic eschatology, compared to Judaism!You would see a huge difference in your ancient scriptures compard to what Islam teaches Muslims will do to Jews.

Tell me in the Torah where Ha'Shem says to slay the pagans wherever you find them, and hack at their necks?Show me where Yeshua/Jesus taught violence or even partook in it?Even when he was arrested and Peter cut off the ear of one of the guards Yeshua healed the man, and practice what He preached when He said "love your enemies!

When we "advance" to Islam then, we are "fulfilling" our religious experience by giving up lesser revelations such as:

1. Jesus was not crucified and the 200 or so scriptures dealing with atonement for sin and the finished work of Christ are null and void to us.

2. The righteousness of Christ is no longer imputed to us.

3. If we do enough good works by force of will, we might be saved

4. We have no assurance or promise. Like Muhammed, who said "I do not know what Allah will do with me," we no longer have any good idea whether we will be saved or not.

5. Our relationship with God becomes far more impersonal because we are now bound to maintain rituals, such as facing east at certain times of the day, traveling to Mecca, wearing certain clothes, or we lose his favor.

6. The Holy Spirit who Jesus said will "comfort and teach you" is to be rejected as an imaginary manifestation of the Godhead.

7. Anything in the NT which contradicts Muhammed's assertions or non-Christian historical records is false

"what if you knew that what you believe now was not true but the things that you believe in were decided for you by MEN centuries ago.. That is the history of Christianity and the Church. The realities of this Universe prove that Christianity is false, and the Bible will bear witness to two gods, yahweh and The One G-d. It is a seriuosly troubling revelation to christians when they realize the truth about christianity, it origins, and its parent,judaism! So to christianity I say no thanks. Not personally attacking you but just showing that your are hijacking this thread!

If this is a flame I apologize in advance...but it seems that most of the christians in this forum who continuosly post these lies about Islam that have been refuted centuriesago are nothing more than liars, or at best unwitting contributorsto the propagation of lies. Prove it.That has been my ongoing challenge...Many in here keep posting Hadith that contradict the Quran, without informing their readers that MUSLIMS know all Hadith that contradict the Quran as false;Or deliberatley posting wrong translation of the Quran for their purposes; Or worse, deliberatley interpreting in one reading or two, from a Christian point of view, what it has taken some of our best Muslim scholars their whole lifetimes to do. All with maybe only a commmand of conversational Arabic,at best;as if the Quran is written in Conversational Arabic! Maybe that is the only way their point can be made..shrugs..I don't know...Ansarullah says to himself.You are not fooling any of theAhl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah!

Seriously, I have watched a lot of people on this forum totally trounced, by myself and many others, including non-muslims, on other boards similar to this one that deal with issues concerning Islam, only to see them seek refuge in this forum by spreading their venom to the oblivious, unaware, and naive. about the rest of your post. well, this is what muslims always all the time do when they are faced with the reality in Hadeeth. they always say "oh this is a bad one." or "this is a good, but not authentic" or "one of the readers are not good enough" or "who told you that Muslims quote or follow these books???"
while, you, for example, used a Hadeeth in order to refused other Hadeeth !!! from the same book !!!
You say that Quran is sufficent!! then can you tell me how do you pray? show us verses in Quran that describ how to pray...
Are you Quranic? or Shi'a ? or Sunna ? or what ???
for Quranic sect does not beleive in Hadeeth at all!!!
Sunna beleive in Hadeeth in thier books which are not the same as Shi'a and say that Shi'a books are not authentic!!!
Shi'a beleive in Hadeeth in thier books which are not the same as Sunna and say that Sunna books are not authentic!!!

so who are you, tell us what *trusted* books you follow and we will use them fro you...
this is YOUR ISLAM, bring in ten muslims, and they will go out in 11 different sects and kill each other for not following his sect! since the time of your beloved prophet...
