Why is there a correlation between understanding evolution and accepting it as valid science?

I explained that several times.
I must have missed it. Since no scientific theory claims that "something came out of nothing" I don't see why it's an issue.

Nobody knows, but whatever it is is not nothing.

Then essentially from nothing.

I find it hard to believe you've never heard anyone claim it just happened.

You don't believe God created the heavens and the earth?

Actually, God the Trinity created the first firmament which He called Heaven Gen 1:8 on the 2nd Day. Lord God/Jesus made other HeavenS (plural) on the 3rd Day, Genesis 2:4 the SAME Day the first Earth was made. Genesis 1:10 We live in a multiverse with other Heavens/Universes.

To people who live in the physical Universe, it seems that everything came from nothing, but God gets more specific in this verse:

Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Einstein discovered that energy and matter are two sides of the same coin. Could this mean that God changed some of the energy in His world, into matter in our's? Of course it does since Jesus changed some of the matter in the first physical world, back into energy at the big bang, which cooled and became the present physical world. Amen?

Then essentially from nothing.

Um. You get "essentially nothing" out of "whatever it was, it wasn't nothing?"

The power of strawman is strong in this one.

You don't know means it came from nothing? If you found a car and you had no idea where it came from you would conclude it literally came from nothing?

Is there a correlation between understanding & accepting something for most things?
I'd say for most things they actually have to make sense to be accepted. For example I understand the idea that rotting straw creates mice. But I of course don't accept it.

I know, right? When one asks questions the opposing party needs to answer, and when that doesn't happen, it really does make the conversation go belly up..

You are correct.

Annoying isn't it?

"nothing" and "don't know" aren't the same thing at all. I don't know how much money you have; does that mean you don't have any?

I find it hard to believe you've never heard anyone claim it just happened.
I've heard many creationists make that accusation, always falsely.

You don't believe God created the heavens and the earth?
Of course I do--and considering how often I have answered that question for you, I have to take it as an intentional insult.

I believe that God created the heavens and the Earth, but I don't believe He "designed" them. It sounds to me as if you were saying that unless I believe in ID (and the crap theology which goes with it) I must be an atheist.

To deny the Christian faith of another poster, either directly or by implication, is a violation of the rules of this forum and is vicious behavior in any case.

I seem to remember from past conversations Kenny directly implying this: that one cannot be a Christian unless they are also a creationist.

Where?

I thought creationists figured it came from God, not nothing, which is our subject here.

You evaded the actual comment, so you are saying the same about non creationists, and you think they are in error as well?

Of course I do--and considering how often I have answered that question for you, I have to take it as an intentional insult.

If God was the cause of it, he created it, even if he made it self creating or some nonsense like that. So, when you say no you don't believe it was started by God, that most certainly begs the question I asked you. Take it however you like, you bring it on yourself.

And then you wonder why I question your reading comprehension skills....

Please see my last post to you, it covers your lack comprehension, as well as other skills, and with posts like I replied to there, I'm not too concerned about your accusations, and haven't been for some time. :)
