Why is sin funny?

Let me explain before a million people call me a horrible person or a troll. I ask this question 100% sincerely. Have you ever noticed that usually when a person flips another person the bird that its kinda funny. Or when a man breaks wind in his wife's face. Just about the only sin that I don't find funny is when someone uses the Lords name in vain. That usually is NEVET funny and I am offended by it even though I occasionally do it. But why are most sins funny to humans? Don't we all know that they are not funny to God and just how serious they are? Yet many of us continue to sin anyway! So its like we're caught in our sins and just live in them. It upsets me. I mean sinning should be a previous matter yet for some reason I cannot stop laughing when somebody does it or that I do it too. It must be a problem right? So why is sin so darn funny?

First of all, it really depends on the situation...the Lord isn't a kill joy, but there must be a boundary in every joke...unhealthy jokes like green jokes, bullying etc etc etc...we must have a discernment.

Also wouldn't laughing at a sin be considered a sin too? So we sin twice whenever we find a particular sin funny. I mean... I sin a lot more than many other Christian's do. I definitely do not stand by God righteous and like I said before I've done MANY bad things that one day I'm going to be have to give an account to God for. But what kind of scares me is that because I find sin funny most of the time God is probably going to judge me more harshly than he would other Christian's who sin. Just a thought.

Maybe. I mean even Christian's still sin everyday. We just hate our sun and try to stop. But I still find myself saying the lords name in vain with the f word tied in a lot. I mean why do I need to perverse the name of my lord and savior like that? Or I will swear and say the s word or the D word or hell. I really need to learn to control my tongue but it's like I can't stop. *sigh*

Or there's times where I'll play video games and post middle fingers and stuff to get reactions (usually approval) from other players who aren't Christians. Or to get a laugh from them and find it funny myself.

I cannot wait until the day comes when God will make us sinless. Then we will never find sin funny again. In fact it will disgust us just like it disgusts God.

I gave one example. There's a video game that O play that has two factions that PVP against each other. I have a macro that gives the middle finger and says that the opposite faction sucks. I think that it's funny so I spam it ALL the time for other people to laugh at and egg me on. I realize that this is bad and shouldn't be funny. Or sometimes I will talk about dirty and personal things with my wife and think n.v that they're funny when they make my wife and uncomfortable. Honestly I should stop these things but they are SO funny. Especially when people react a certain way.

It’s pretty funny that the devil can’t condemn a soul saved by Jesus with it. You know he’s ticked off! The demons must be like... ya had to crucify Jesus, didn’t ya!!!! Way to go! Now all we have is lies!!!!

I think like doing middle finger in a game, and talking about dirty jokes are not healthy...if this kind of joke is feeding your mind a lust or any negative to your spiritual life, don't do it.

If you hear preaching Francis Chan, I laugh sometimes to his jokes and even pastor's here in my church. Because it's healthy joke.

It's like a hobby, there's nothing wrong doing a hobby, but if it's making affecting your spiritual life, it's Idolatry. We should it in a balance way

But don't be a Pharisee too...this kind of people is very serious lol...people will sense we are weird if we are like Pharisee...I love throwing jokes seriously in personal life, but I always make sure it will not feed trash in my mind.

Don't beat yourself over the bush. I find it funny too. There are people like us who have this dark sense of humor, in where watching stuff like news anchors slip, or people.. I think it's bad to take things too seriously honestly.
