Violence is more closely tied to anger and hate than it is to love and affection.

I find it odd how many are defending violence as being okay.

I do not believe I have because I did not specifically say that Sam was not Christian.
My questions were in line with finding out what type of Christian Sam was.

You do. And I appreciate that, because we communicate with words, and to communicate effectively when we use a word, we have to be meaning the same thing.

For example, the whole cosmology of Scripture depends on what we mean by the words "God", "Spirit", "earth", "day", "light", "waters", "heaven", "life", "to be", "death", "exists", "is" and "Gehenna".

I have worked as an actress in my youth, I rather acted in a bloody murder scene as the victime if I get to have much clothes on and fall over the tables or get stuntslapped than act as a sleezy dressed tempting girl. I have mostly refused kissing scenes but I think porn is wrong because it dehumanise people, the actresses and the ones that watch. It makes them hollow inside, empty shells, sad and miserable somehow. Quite often. Some victims of porn are forced and threathend and drugged and filmed and finally killed after the movie shuts down. So they won't report any kidnapping. Have You ever thought how many missing people there are around the globe and trafficking is a growing problem.

God condemns fornication.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Revelation 21:8.
Also, Jesus says that if you look upon a woman in lust it is adultery.
This is sexual sin. Jesus said they could be cast bodily into hell fire for such a sin.
It would be a big leap of assumption to assume Jesus only meant men who are married that this would apply to. Especially seeing that Paul clearly condemns fornication, as well.

What even constitutes porn is often subjective

I think that there are a fair number of people who are infatuated with others' sexuality because they themselves have unresolved issues with their own sexuality, and they tend to project this into the world around them to avoid taking time to resolve their issues

Personally, I think there is a difference between porn, eroticism, erotic literature, even art like Japanese shunga, and that the response one has to such material is really fundamentally based on their own sexuality and how comfortable they are with it

Some people see representations of genitalia everywhere , which is really a type of pareidolia, similar to how someone sees the number 666 everywhere in company logos, it comes from an unhealthy fascination with something

But to make it more simple Paul said to be like him, celibate. And if you couldn't, to be married. Would the world's considering of sexuality be so complicated if we kept it that simple. Be celibate and focus on the Lord and if you can't control it, be married and do what you will with your spouse as God doesn't look into the bedroom of a married couple.

Some people want to serve God and also serve their sin. They want the best of both worlds.
But Jesus says you cannot serve two masters. For you will hate the one and love the other.

If we are looking for exact rules and words in the Bible to determine sin, we are no different than the religious leaders that Jesus spoke against. Let us remember, the Pharisees used the Bible to accuse Jesus of sin for healing on the Sabbath. Sin is what separates us from God. It can come in many forms. Someone can have money and not be in sin with their money but someone else might idolize money (even if they don't have any) and be sinning. Is there artwork that contains nudity that is true artwork? Yes. Can a Christian view such artwork? Yes. But there are things that are sin due to what they do to us and impact our relationship with God. I believe pornography is one of those - just as gossip and slander. I tell people that sin is easy to define....if you would be uncomfortable with Jesus sitting next you....it is sin.

it is a sin against ourselfs + coveting (desiring to have sex with woman thats not yours)+lust and + adultery (because the seed for it has been sown). sin also leads to bondage that will be hard too escape from which will defile us and cause us to sin even more and in other ways also. but through sincere repentance and turning away Jesus will judge your heart and might set you free from it. and if you cry out because the temptation is too strong he will help you. but we need to turn toward him and away from the evil that corrupts us for freedom and sanctification.
