Have I really? Pray tell, then, where in holy scripture is Mary given the title of Panagia?

It's a Greek term. Greeks refer to Mary as Panagia (Most Holy) and Theotokos (Mother of God). Greeks do not simply call her by name (Mary).

I can understand cultural standards, but that does not condemn the authors of the gospels for having called the mother of Jesus, Mary, and not another title, nor for calling all of her children by their given names.
