Why is It Considered Hateful to Call an Act Wrong?

18 When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for [a] his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself. Ezekiel 3:18-19

Why do so many people consider it an act of hate or discrimination for a Christian to point out the committing of homosexual acts as sinful?

It isn't hateful to call an act wrong.

However, one can call an act "wrong" in a multitude of hateful ways.

A lot of the fundies, Baptists and conservatives on this board wonder why gays and liberals seem so hostile towards them.

I suggest you all read through some of the things you've said to us, and imagine how you might feel if some of those things were said to you. (I don't for a second anticipate that being done, but it IS a suggestion.)

A lot of people in this forum seem to be oblivious to the fact that there are wrong ways to say things — and the result is that people end up being completely alienated from you (plural form) AND your message.

If you disagree with homosexual behavior for any reason, then you are considered "homophobic" by the gay crowd. None of the reasons matter.

But if I tell you that God's Word says that the act is wrong, and then proceed to show you why also using God's Word, why all the cries of hate and discrimination?

If I'm repeating God's Word to you, does not the issue become yours if you reject that truth?

It's a manipulation tactic to get more support for the gay agenda. You'll notice that all "hate filled conservatives" say is just to repent and follow Christ.

Something else that I've never quite gotten. Why are Christians suddenly considered to be "scared of homosexuality" just because they speak against the committingof homosexual acts?

Well, this is imho...But I think the outside world that is not Christian see those who point out to others a sin...as they do not see what they are doing is a sin in Gods eyes.

Therefore it sounds hateful to them...when "sin" is mentioned! Therefore "our new countries rules...that we cannot say anything hateful against anyone of any faith, belief, or any other system that doesn't conform with "our governments beliefs"...Which are not Christian!

I think this is just the beginning of persecution in the west! They can say "anything" hateful against Christians, but certainly "not" the other way around! We are becoming the "bad ones" that won't conform ourselves to "this world"! Especially since "we are not of this world...We belong TO HIS! Amen!

And, remember Jesus Himself told us..."this would come to pass in the end days" that we would be hated as much as He was! So...live for His glory and not "this nasty worlds opinions of us"! Amen! Much love to you in Christ, hannah

Tell me exactly what the "gay agenda" that you keep going on about actually is.

With valid citations (which excludes NARTH, newsmax, FOX News, worldnetdaily, lifesite, the Washington Times, Paul Cameron, Joseph Nicolosi, etc.), if you please.

How simple.

YOU have "the truth".

Anybody who disagrees with you doesn't have "the truth."

And how presumptuous.

We can conclude we have successfully created God in our own image when God hates everybody and everything we hate.

Why would I need to reference the News when I'm simply speaking of your perverse use of language to get more support for your sin?

How can you make an argument for your side if you disbelieve your argument in the first place? Not to mention you are contradicing yourself since you pressupose that homosexuality is acceptable.

For once, would you skip the linguistic dance and just do what you're asked?

HUH???

(Here we go again with another one of the word-twisting arguments where NewGuy holds his opponent is held accountable for something he never said. Lord, give me the strength to endure this...)

Uber, why in every response do you keep coming across like you're angry about something?

Can you please keep the sardonic remarks to a minimum?

How simple.

YOU have "the truth".

Are you a Christian , Uber? If you are then you should be in agreement with Christians that God has the truth and that truth which is the Living Word, His Son Jesus Christ, has been given by His inspired Written Word.

Anybody who disagrees with you doesn't have "the truth."

And how presumptuous.

That wouldn't be presumptuous. That would be stupid.
Where have I asked anybody to agree with me or any other Christian?

Should we not be seeking to align ourselves with what GOD SAYS instead of what man says?

In that regard, like the original question, you've implied that I've done or presumed something that I have not.

You seriously need a course in critical thinking maybe even english if you cannot understand the plain language in my statements. No wonder you have so much trouble with the bible.

Again, another ironic post. I don't need to since the media is as liberal as you.

Typical conservative: "Blah, blah, blah, blah liberal media." (Specific examples are never given.)

"Blah, blah, blah, blah homosexual agenda." (Which is never defined.)

"Blah, blah, blah, blah protect marriage and the family." (Spoken by certain conservatives while they go out and do these kinds of abominations, including rape and incest.)

And you wonder why some of us have stopped taking conservatives seriously.
