Why is god biased?

I have absolutely no problem with the character of jesus! His teachings, as far as I've seen, are based on good moral values! I have nothing against that! However, I have no reason to believe that there is a god or that he has manifested himself through jesus!

If a god is willing to send me to hell, then I will not hesitate to bring that god with me to hell!

You are trying to make the rules up yourself. It is God who makes the rules, you can't banish God to hell! All you can do is believe what Jesus said or disbelieve Him. If you want to believe only part of the story then you are doing what false teachers do - making up your own religion. Is that what you want to do, or do you really want to know the truth?

I really do want to know the truth... I am not making up my own rules that require special evidence.. I only ask for evidence that you WILL ask for if someone claimed that there are pink unicorns!

Well I can't help you if you won't accept the evidence that God has given us. Even Jesus contended with those who couldn't believe His testimony.

Edit: please absorb this. The intention of Christianity is to make people holy. That is, those who obey God who receive the Holy Spirit and who reject sin according to Jesus' teaching, that those who are being made holy will be perfect forever. I have no motivation to become christian.. I have a motivation to be part of truth! Why should I be motivated to become christian?

Because these words will ring in your ears, over and over on the day of your judgment. Every time you want to make an excuse, every time you want to call something God has done "unfair." These words will drown out any and all other thoughts.

As far as why you should be motivated?This is a personal truth you will have to discover on your own.

I guess we have come full circle and at least now you are being honest with yourself and not lying about all that you have done to become christian. Believe it or not this is a good start. Just know this time when you seek God do not put a time limit on your efforts, and do not expect God to bend Himself to fit your understanding of Him. Seek God for who He is and where He stands.

Dude.. I get all that stuff.. what god really wants us from us and the whole free-will and evil's existence arguments.. I am pointing out god's moral character and why mine is higher than his.. I know mine is higher because I am not biased!

You were insulting me first.. read your post again.. I am not here to be insulting, but rather gain knowledge, find out how people think, and possible learn new things.. you are claiming to know me better than myself.. what do you call that?

Let's get this clear.. hell is eternal.. it is eternal torture and separation from god.. it has to be eternal because heaven is... god DOES SEND us to hell.. you might say we do by our sins.. what if I refuse to go... for example.. I kill someone and tell the judge in court that I refuse to serve time.. you can be rest assured that the judge will drag my butt into prison if that's what it takes to see that justice is served.. what's so different about god being the just god that he is and sending people FOR ETERNITY! If your god exists and is good as you claim he is, then at least I will be with him if I was a christian and have served my life sentence in prison for that murder.. but the hell concept is eternal.. that is a freaking long time!

I don't demand god show evidence on my terms.. I do so in the terms of almost every single logical and rational person would.. much like how you would require evidence if I claimed the existence of pink unicorns!

There are pictures and videos of Obama... that is general proof of existence of not just him, but of anything that is taped or photographed! I am not demanding the type of top secret stuff that only the president or his associates would know from god.. Basic evidence is all I need!

I think it is presumptuous to say why God chooses not to appear to some people. Why also do demons and angels choose not to appear to some people? There are some people who have real encounters with spiritual beings. The spiritual beings can manipulate energy and matter, so this is why Satan can appear as an angel of light and God can appear as a burning bush and some people can witness poltergeist activity and miracles. Our bodies are made of matter and the spirit is given to it by God. That way we can have a relationship with God (and Satan if so desired) using the spirit we have. I know that I too have a relationship with these people, but Jesus keeps Satan restrained so he doesn't bother me too much.

Yes when the body is finished then we only have the spirit and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). The better question would be to ask "why has God not revealed Himself to me".

He does. Many people attest to the fact that they have a relationship with God and that God speaks to them. Don't forget that God has even taken on the form of a man and walked on earth just as real as the way that we walk on earth.

God gives you what you want. If you want to be with God, then you will accept Christ and be given salvation. Which is indeed a set of "terms" that you have adopted personally, and are requiring God to full fill. I did not say you were alone in this demand for proof, i only identified your position in it.

These two examples are not alike. If you told me of these unicorns and there was no otherway for me to experience them than to meet them personally, then if I wanted to know of their existence I would go to them. You on the other hand are demanding that the "unicorn" meets your requirements on your terms. (That he comes to meet you.) You are comparing apples and oranges here.
