Why is everyone so down on Fox News?

So a lot of people seem to hate Fox News... they always give reasons like "they spread hate and racism" but I've yet to hear or see proof of this. I know they report news with a conservative bias but the same goes with liberal media and liberal bias. So why do you hate fox news? Please provide proof unless you're just stating opinion.

I don't hate Fox, I just recognize that they have no problem blatantly lying to their listeners. I also admit that most other major news stations are biased toward the right or left but none do it in the manner that Fox does.

I wish that there was a good station which stayed out of politics and just reported the facts.

They spread their own views by skewing evidence. Many times their tactics end up being questionable at best, racist at worst. A good example of skewing evidence is Fox reporting that video games cause rape to show that dem video games teh bad nus.

Conservative bias is one thing. Altering facts is another.

So why do you hate fox news? Please provide proof unless you're just stating opinion.

I hate Fox because they are a poor and unreliable news source.

News shows they are talk shows where opinions are given

Bias and lying are two completely different things. One may cause the other, but they are not equivalent.

Except that Oreilly made a factual statement that no one at all on Fox News ever said X, when Beck clearly did. That is what we call a lie, not an opinion.

No, it is not my opinion. It is documented fact that Fox lies about things. Feelings don't make a news source good.

This is why America cannot move forward, very persuasive men are reporting fake news and people refuse to see the truth. They instead see what they want to see.
It is a very frustrating thing

You're right, it is your concern. But when you tell me that what I post as fact and support as fact and give evidence to as a fact is opinion, it becomes my concern, same as it does when you make factual claims about Fox, CNN, or any other news source.

notes to teachers in the street to verify why they are out from work. Both CNN and fox reported on same story but CNN spin is that the doctors are "helping" the demonstrators fox reports that the docs are commuting fraud. Same story different

But yours is NOT a matter of opinion. Whether someone lies or not is a matter of fact, not opinion, and you are claiming that three major news outlets are lying without anything to support your claim besides more claims. Here in the world of discussing things, we don't like claims that are unbacked. Tend to be untrustworthy.
