As an analogy, if the US government has an important message for its citizens should it let all the states know or just one or two of the states?
While Muslim remained only in the middle east, with Hinduism being local in India, Christianity is the only religion going international since day one with the explicit command of preaching the gospel to each and every nations. It is a continued effort to bring God's message in such a mankind facing manner.
