Both.
That is certainly possible.Could it be that your theology is wrong?
According to the Scriptures it is something that you and I know but we actively suppress. That one is a real head-scratcher. I don't know any of that.
eudaimonia,
Mark
According to the Scriptures it is something that you and I know but we actively suppress.
But you can be wrong about god, no?
According to the power of God which worketh in me to do His good pleasure. And your perceptions about things like God are infallible?
Interesting. Can you give an example of something that the voice of your conscience has told you before? What did you hear?
eudaimonia,
Mark
I was talking to Mark. What is the problem? You brought it up.
What I have written, I have written. Is this a yes or no, as to whether your personal perceptions are infallible?
Don't do that.
Don't do what? Ask a simple question?
If you are embarrassed to give a real example, I understand. I'm not forcing you to do so.
eudaimonia,
Mark
So your theology says that we are all believers, just some of us lie about it.My theology would say a few things:
1. All people know God. They know that he exists and that they owe him recognition and allegiance. All are without excuse in this regard.
2. All people resist acknowledging God.
3. Only by God's grace can we come to a positive awareness of God and a trust in him.
What's so terrible? We get to go to heaven. Ice cream and circuses for everyone!Apart from his grace we must ignore him because his reality is terrible to us.
I'm happy to hear that. Have you considered that telling others how they think, and being wrong about it, may not be the best approach for making your theology appear coherent to those same individuals? That is certainly possible.
