None of that money is spent by the poor "so they don't have to work." That is a big Republican lie you are copying. Liberals are very concerned about the people who are unable to work or at least get a job.

I did. You are proposing socialism and i am telling you why i oppose it. Its not because of what you said, its not because im greedy, its because im informed and dont trust the government to handle my limited funds. I'll do the giving around here, not you. You wont give my money away, thats my job. You want to give away my money and then feel as if you are doing something to help. Give your own money and stay away from mine, please.

If you look at your pay stub, you know your tax dollars are being spent on covering living expenses and a health insurance program. That is not wasted money, but money helping the poor who need it.
