CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

To clarify, its not my family itself that is my blessing. It is the love we have for each other that truly blesses us every day. If they are taken from me, I will have the blessing of my memories of us together, and the trust that I will see them again.

There is a reason why your life is the way it is. I was angry with God for a long time because my husband was the way he was. I always fully believed that in marrying I made a lifetime decision, and was angry at God for not giving me a "good" husband. But I had to overcomme that, and realize that God gave me a test so that I could one day have a story of how He helped me through that test.
When you find a mate, you will appreciate them more for having to wait for them, as you will understand how it feels to have your need unfulfilled until God comes through to give it to you.

I was not as thankful when I was younger. I never really realized how blessed I was. I was to busy being mad because I lost everything after my brain injury and other things after that.
Then I realized God keeps me alive each day. Some people die in their sleep... but I haven't died in my sleep. I have a roof over my head. I have parents that still love me. I have Jesus as my saviour. I have food to eat...etc. Yes I may be considered poor, but outside of wordily views I am still blessed. And now on top of it all I have a fiance thats becoming my wife soon. Life is so much better then I realized and God has blessed us ALL so much.
Just the fact we are on the internet is something we should be thankful for, or the fact we own a computer. In my fiances country there are people my age literally living in garbage dumps and eating maggot filled rotten food. These people live (literally) day by day. Makes me feel stupid for complaining sometimes about things like "My pillow is no longer soft!". At least I have a pillow, two of them! ^.^

I mean, prioritize. God is available to you now and forever. He should be the most important part of your life, not your spouse, or potential spouse. Whatever problems you have, a spouse is not going to solve them. God will. And if you say, "I will worship you, God, after you give me a spouse," well, that won't work. We cannot put God to the test.

For his will and purpose. He's God, he can do whatever lol and btw God is CONSTANTLY blessing but a lot of people fail to realize it. You think waking up every morning is luck, you think not getting in an accident everytime you drive is luck, you think not getting food poisoning everytime you eat is luck, you think being able to be happy is luck and trust me the devil is always willing to rip you of ANY form of happiness! Trust me God is CONSTANTLY blessing and just bcuz a lot of it isn't materialistic doesn't mean it isn't a blessing
BTW I'm noticing more and more seems like almost everybody is searching or hopefully waiting for that special someone lol. I can just imagine God's look on His face lol

Some people do have more favor over their life.God blesses the righteous. But you have to believe for God to bless you. Confess those things which be not as though they were. Confess God word over that area. Fast and give tithe.

A good friend of mine just lost his wife. She died suddenly. It wasn't because he or she didn't have enough faith, her death wasn't a punishment from God. In this time, his faith must be placed in more than his outward blessings, because the biggest blessing in his life has been taken to Heaven.
If we condition our faith on the worldly things that God can give, we set ourselves up to be disappointed, because there are some who are meant to live simply, while there are others who are meant to live lavishly. We cannot know if we are one or the other. We just have to trust that God has us where He wants us.
A good question that applies in this situation: What was the "sin" that Job was guilty of and repented for in the end?
What also was the sin that Jonas was guilty of, and repented for in the end?

God blesses everyone... Always remember that when praise and worship and prayer goes up, blessings comes down.
I pray for favour in my life, that I am annointed, blessed, healed and definitely in favour, and this might sound crazy... but I never stand in qeues, I get my traffic lights green, people give me compliments and it is not luck it is God's favour.
I also pray for "Kara" in my life... the Hebrew word for.. at the right time at the right place.. I pray for these things eveyday. I have faith when I pray for favour that I have it.
When we follow our Lord and we do not sin and if we do sin..... we ask forgiveness, there is no reason He will not bless you.
