Broad generalizations help us avoid things we're likely to not like. For example, if every country song you've ever heard made you retch, then it's safe to say you dislike country music. Even if you find one or two country songs you do like, you can still say you hate the genre, because these are just rare exceptions.

Seriously, I'm in love with all music unless is it against Jesus or God, and is about lots of sex or drugs.

Music comes down to personal taste. Why do some people not like Lobster? :eek: It is the greatest dish in the world to me, but my mom hates lobster! It comes down to personal taste. Some people love country music, and others do not.
